ALL ELITE WRESTLING BRINGS THE HEAT TO CEDAR RAPIDS
Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The Alliant Energy PowerHouse was electric last night as All Elite Wrestling (AEW) brought their brand of high-flying action to the Hawkeye State. In front of a packed house, AEW delivered a thrilling card that had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The show kicked off with a bang as Jay White took down Shane Taylor in a hard-hitting singles match. The former ROH World Champion showed why he's one of the top contenders in the company, using his technical grappling skills to outmaneuver Taylor and secure the win.
Next up was Penelope Ford, who looked to continue her winning streak against Robyn Renegade. In a surprisingly competitive match, Ford used her cunning and agility to evade Renegade's attacks before catching her with a beautiful knee drop to get the pin.
The tag team division got its moment in the sun as The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) took on MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden). In a wild and crazy match, both teams showed off their high-flying skills, but it was The Outrunners who came out on top after a devastating combination of moves left the opposing team reeling.
The crowd was electric as Ricochet faced off against Lio Rush in a battle of the best. These two aerial specialists went toe-to-toe, trading impressive move sets and near-falls before Ricochet finally emerged victorious with his signature hesitation dropkick.
In another tag team match that stole the show, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) took down La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico and Rush). The veteran duo of Cash and Dax proved too much for the young guns, using their years of experience to outsmart and overpower their opponents.
Finally, Anna Jay made a statement in her singles match against Viva Van. Using her quickness and agility to evade Van's powerful strikes, Jay landed a series of high-impact moves before finishing things off with a picture-perfect 450 splash.
As the show came to a close, FTR celebrated their victory while La Faccion Ingobernable vowed to come back stronger than ever. With AEW's top stars showing why they're among the best in the world, fans left the Alliant Energy PowerHouse feeling like they got their money's worth.
