A Thrilling Night of Action at the Prudential Center: AEW Delivers

January 5, 2022, Newark, New Jersey - The Prudential Center played host to a packed and energetic crowd as All Elite Wrestling brought its brand of high-flying, hard-hitting action to the Garden State. And deliver they did.

The evening kicked off with a thrilling encounter between Adam Page and Bryan Danielson, both vying for the AEW World Championship. This clash of titans proved to be an absolute barnburner, with both men pushing each other to their limits in a contest that clocked in at 29:06. In the end, it was Page who emerged victorious, his determination and ring savvy proving too much for the challenger.

The rapid-fire pace continued as Shawn Dean took on MJF in a singles match. This one was over before you could say "MJF's got game", with Dean securing the win in a mere 47 seconds. A dominant performance that left little doubt about who was the superior competitor.

Wardlow and Antonio Zambrano next took to the ring, with Wardlow showcasing his impressive power and strength to dispatch his opponent in just 1:23 minutes. This one was all about the big man's brute force, leaving Zambrano reeling and helpless against the onslaught.

The AEW TBS Title Tournament Final saw Jade Cargill face off against Ruby Soho. And what a match it was! These two women brought their A-game, trading blows and near-falls in a contest that was equal parts technical grappling and high-octane action. In the end, it was Cargill's sheer athleticism and determination that earned her the win.

Malakai Black was next up, taking on Brian Pillman Jr. in a singles match. This one had all the hallmarks of a great undercard bout - intense, hard-hitting, and with a healthy dose of drama thrown in. Black proved to be the more cunning competitor, outwrestling Pillman Jr. en route to a 6:02-minute victory.

Finally, the night's main event saw Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) face off against The Lucha Brothers for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. This was an absolute showstopper - a true masterclass in tag team wrestling. Both teams brought their unique blend of high-flying aerials and technical grappling to the table, resulting in a match that had the crowd on its feet from start to finish.

As the night drew to a close, it was clear that AEW had delivered a truly unforgettable evening of entertainment. With a packed house and a card that featured something for everyone, this show will be remembered as one of the highlights of the year. Zohash.com gives it a solid 9 out of 10 - a must-watch performance from start to finish.
