AEW RISES TO THE OCCASION IN JAX

The Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida played host to another thrilling edition of All Elite Wrestling on January 10th, as the promotion brought its brand of high-flying action to the Sunshine State. With a packed house of 3,183 fans eagerly anticipating the night's festivities, AEW did not disappoint.

Opening Act: Page vs. Castagnoli

The evening got underway with Adam Page taking on Claudio Castagnoli in a singles match that showcased both men's technical prowess. The action was hot and heavy from start to finish, with neither competitor willing to yield an inch. In the end, it was Page who emerged victorious, securing the pin after a series of rapid-fire suplexes. The clock read 17:11 when the referee counted to three.

Tag Team Tussle

The eight-man tag team match that followed featured a veritable who's who of AEW talent, with Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy, and Preston Vance combining forces against Lance Archer and his Mogul Embassy cohorts. The action was chaotic at times, but the good guys ultimately prevailed thanks to a well-timed spear from Dustin Rhodes. The clock stopped at 10:24 when the pin was finally secured.

More Singles Action

Sammy Guevara made quick work of Ricky Starks in their singles match, finishing him off with a devastating Guevaravision at the 9:29 mark. Meanwhile, Roderick Strong's encounter with Bryan Keith was over almost as soon as it began, the veteran grappler submitting his opponent via submission hold in just 4:22.

The Women Take Center Stage

Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, and Willow Nightingale joined forces to take on Julia Hart, The Outcasts (Kilynn King and Rache Chanel), and Skye Blue in an eight-woman tag team match that featured plenty of high-flying action. In the end, it was Team Anna who emerged victorious, securing the pin after a series of simultaneous moves from their respective members. The clock read 9:03 when the referee counted to three.

Main Event Mayhem

The night's main event saw Darby Allin and Sting team up for a tornado tag team match against Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs, part of the Don Callis Family. As expected, the action was fast-paced and frenetic from start to finish, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, it was Darby Allin who secured the pin for his team, finishing off Hobbs with a Last Supper at the 9:53 mark.

All in all, another excellent night of wrestling from AEW, which continues to bring its unique brand of excitement and entertainment to fans around the world. Until next time, folks...
