All Elite Wrestling (AEW) brought the heat to their latest TV special, featuring a stacked card that left fans thoroughly entertained. The event was taped and broadcast live on AEW's digital platforms.
Match of the Night: Cody vs Darby Allin
In a thrilling encounter, Cody emerged victorious in his TNT Title Tournament semi-final showdown against Darby Allin. This highly anticipated bout showcased both competitors' technical prowess, with Allin showcasing incredible aerial abilities. The action spilled outside, as they battled up and down the aisle before returning to the ring for a dramatic finish. Cody's experience ultimately paid off, as he submitted Allin with the Crossroads (2) at 20:11.
Singles Action
Wardlow made quick work of Musa in their singles match, finishing him off with a devastating Powerbomb in just 2 minutes and 22 seconds. In another brief encounter, Shawn Spears outmaneuvered Baron Black to score the win in 3 minutes and 38 seconds.
Brodie Lee continued his winning streak by defeating Marko Stunt, dominating the youngster with a series of powerful moves before sealing the deal with a Falcon Arrow at 3:08.
Tag Team Chaos
The Best Friends duo of Chuck Taylor and Trent took on Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian in a hard-hitting No Disqualification No Count Out Tag Team Match. This wild affair featured plenty of brawling outside, as well as some high-flying action from the flying men. In the end, it was the experienced Best Friends who emerged victorious at 13:17.
TNT Title Tournament Semis
In the second semi-final matchup, Lance Archer put on a show against Dustin Rhodes. The two heavy-hitters engaged in a grueling contest that saw both men trading blows and near-falls. In the end, it was Archer's experience that won out, as he pinned Rhodes with the Blackout (2) at 22:44.
The Verdict
A solid night of wrestling from AEW, featuring some excellent matches and a showcase for their talented roster. The TNT Title Tournament is heating up, with Cody and Lance Archer set to face off in the finals. Will we see another thrilling match or a surprise winner? Only time will tell!
