A Thrilling Night of Action at the United Center as AEW Delivers Again

Chicago, Illinois - August 20, 2021 - The United Center played host to a pulsating night of professional wrestling action, as All Elite Wrestling (AEW) presented its latest TV special. In front of an electric crowd of 15,316, the promotion delivered a trio of matches that showcased the very best of what it has to offer.

The evening kicked off with a thrilling tag team encounter, as The Jurassic Express - comprising Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus - took on Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) in an AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament First Round Match. This was a bout that promised much, given the contrasting styles of the two teams involved. And, by the end of it, it had delivered more than anyone could have reasonably expected.

The action was fast-paced and frenetic from the outset, with both pairs trading holds and showcasing their impressive aerial abilities. The crowd was fully invested in every moment, sensing that they were witnessing something special. In the end, it was Jungle Boy's patented "Mushrooms" move that proved decisive, securing a 10:13 victory for his team.

Next up was Jade Cargill, who took on Kiera Hogan in a singles match that promised to be a clash of styles. And, on paper at least, this looked like a mismatch - the powerful and dominant Cargill against the agile but undersized Hogan. As it transpired, however, Cargill's sheer force of nature was too much for her opponent, who ultimately succumbed in just 1:05.

The main event saw Jon Moxley take on Daniel Garcia in a singles match that promised to be an intense and physical contest. And, from the opening bell, it was clear that this was going to be a battle for the ages. Both men showed no quarter, trading blows and showcasing their technical prowess. In the end, it was Moxley's superior strength and conditioning that told, as he emerged victorious after 4:08 of action.

In conclusion, AEW has once again demonstrated its ability to deliver high-quality wrestling on a consistent basis. This was a night that will be remembered for some time to come, and one that left the United Center crowd thoroughly entertained and eager for more. As ever, it's a privilege to cover this promotion, and I look forward to doing so in the future.
