AELITE INSIGHTS

From the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, All Elite Wrestling brought the heat with their latest TV taping, set to air on April 29th. I'm Jon Wertheim, and I've got the lowdown on what went down.

The Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament Qualifying Match Darby Allin kept his momentum going with a thrilling victory over Swerve Strickland. The former TNT Champion showcased his high-flying prowess, landing a series of impressive aerial attacks before sealing the deal with a Picture Perfect Elbow. This win not only earns Allin a spot in the coveted Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament but also solidifies his status as one of AEW's top contenders.

Six Man Tag Team Mayhem The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan, and Red Velvet) flexed their muscles in a dominant display against Skye Blue, Trish Adora, and Willow Nightingale. The powerhouse trio worked in perfect harmony, with Cargill's sheer strength and Hogan's agility proving too much for the opposing team to handle. This outing cemented The Baddies' position as one of AEW's top factions.

The Powerhouse Keith Lee continued his winning streak by dispatching Colten Gunn with a display of raw power. Lee's imposing frame and unyielding strength allowed him to overpower Gunn, ultimately finishing the match with a thunderous Spinebuster. This victory maintains Lee's undefeated record in AEW and keeps him firmly in the hunt for major title opportunities.

ROH World Television Title Showdown Samoa Joe successfully defended his ROH World Television Championship against Trent Beretta. The two combatants engaged in a hard-hitting contest, with both men trading near-falls and showcasing their technical prowess. In the end, Joe's experience and cunning proved decisive, as he submitted Beretta with the Coquina Clutch.

That's all for now from Philadelphia. AEW continues to deliver on its promise of exciting matches and compelling storylines. Stay tuned for more AELITE INSIGHTS, coming soon to zohash.com!
