The Nutter Center played host to an action-packed All Elite Wrestling (AEW) TV-show on Wednesday night, with the highly-anticipated AEW World Trios Title match stealing the show. The event was taped for broadcast on February 3rd and promises to thrill viewers.
Main Event: The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) successfully retained their AEW World Trios Championship against The Firm (Ethan Page, Isiah Kassidy, and Matt Hardy). In a thrilling contest that lasted 14 minutes and 44 seconds, The Elite's lightning-quick teamwork proved too much for the determined challengers. The match saw multiple near-falls, with each team trading holds and high-flying moves. Omega delivered a vicious V-Trigger to Kassidy, setting up the Jacksons' signature "Meltzer Driver" combination to secure the win.
Singles Action: Swerve Strickland continued his impressive winning streak by defeating Brian Pillman Jr. in a hard-hitting contest. The bout lasted 7 minutes and 12 seconds, with both men trading strikes and near-falls. Swerve's quickness and agility ultimately gave him the edge he needed to secure the victory.
Tag Team Thrills: Saraya and Toni Storm put on an electrifying display as they took down The Renegade Twins (Charlette Renegade and Robyn Renegade) in a fast-paced tag team match. The bout clocked in at 5 minutes and 10 seconds, with both teams showcasing their high-flying abilities and clever teamwork. Saraya's patented "Saraya Spear" finisher sealed the deal for her and Storm.
Singles Showcase: Rush made quick work of Christopher Daniels, defeating him in a competitive match that lasted 9 minutes and 51 seconds. The Mexican luchador used his technical grappling skills to outmaneuver Daniels, eventually securing the win with a devastating "Black Magic" submission hold.
