ALL JAPAN PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS "POWER HOUR" - A THRILLING PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT!

July 17th, 2002, Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Japan - The anticipation was palpable as the bell rang, signaling the start of All Japan Pro Wrestling's latest pay-per-view extravaganza, "Power Hour". And, boy, did it deliver!

Tag Team Action Kicks Off the Show

The evening began with a bang, courtesy of Kazushi Miyamoto and Masanobu Fuchi, who defeated Hideki Hosaka and Shigeo Okumura in a well-paced tag team match. The crowd was treated to some high-flying action, courtesy of Miyamoto's impressive aerial assault, before the winners secured the pin at 6:40.

Six-Man Mayhem Ensues

Next up, George Hines, Jimmy Yang, and Kaz Hayashi took on Gran Naniwa, Johnny Smith, and Ryuji Hijikata in a chaotic six-man tag team match. The action was fast-paced, with all eight competitors involved in an unforgettable free-for-all. In the end, it was Hines, Yang, and Hayashi who emerged victorious at 11:26.

Varisty Club and Aijima Take Down Nobukazu Hirai's Crew

The Varsity Club (Kazuyuki Fujita, Ryo Yamamoto, and Yuto Aijima) were the next to taste victory, defeating Arashi, Nobukazu Hirai, and Nobutaka Araya in another six-man tag team match. This one was marked by some impressive teamwork from the Varsity Club, which ultimately led to their 7:05 win.

Kendo Kashin Retains Junior Heavyweight Title

The main event of the evening thus far took place when Kendo Kashin put his AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Title on the line against Gran Hamada. The challenger gave it his all but ultimately fell short, allowing Kashin to retain at 11:38.

Dos Caras and Mascaras Show Off Their Lucha Libre Skills

In a match that showcased some of the best lucha libre action outside of Mexico, Dos Caras and Mil Mascaras took on Abdullah The Butcher and Yoji Anjo. This one was a wild ride from start to finish, with all four competitors pulling out all the stops in an 8:20 barnburner.

Jim Steele and Mike Barton Keep Mitsuya Nagai's Crew at Bay

The penultimate match saw Jim Steele and Mike Barton defeat Mitsuya Nagai and Tomoaki Honma in a tag team contest. This one was marked by some intense action, with the winners using their combined strength to secure the pin at 5:52.

KroniK Conquer Keiji Muto's Crew

The main event of the evening took place when KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clarke) challenged Keiji Muto and Taiyo Kea for the AJPW World Tag Team Titles. The action was intense, with all four competitors giving it their all. In the end, however, it was KroniK who emerged victorious.

Genichiro Tenryu Captures Triple Crown Title

And finally, in the evening's main event, Genichiro Tenryu challenged Satoshi Kojima for the AJPW Triple Crown Title. The action was back-and-forth from start to finish, with both competitors giving it their all. In the end, however, it was Tenryu who secured the pin at 28:55, capturing the coveted Triple Crown Title.

In conclusion, "Power Hour" was a thrilling event that had something for everyone. With a mix of tag team action, six-man mayhem, and individual matchups, there was no shortage of excitement in Osaka's Prefectural Gymnasium.
