CMLL's "La Noche de los Campeones" Pay-Per-View Review

"La Noche de los Campeones" (Night of Champions) saw some of the promotion's top talent go head-to-head in a series of thrilling matches that left fans on the edge of their seats.

Match 1: Pequeno Sky Team vs. Full Metal, Minos and Pequeno Polvora

The evening kicked off with a high-flying Six-Man Tag Team Match featuring Pequeno Sky Team (Angelito, Kaligua, and Pequeno Magia) against Full Metal, Minos, and Pequeno Polvora. Next up were two of CMLL's most formidable factions, as Los Depredadores (El Cuatrero, Sanson, and Skandalo) teamed with Okumura to take on the underdog Atrapasuenos trio (Dulce Gardenia, Espiritu Negro, and Rey Cometa). This Best Two Out Of Three Falls match was a war from start to finish, with both sides trading holds and near-falls. In the end, Los Depredadores' sheer power proved too much for Atrapasuenos, as they secured the win in 15:12.

Match 3: El Triangulo and Hijo De Stuka Jr. vs. Los Divinos Laguneros

The action continued with a thrilling Six-Man Tag Team Match pitting El Triangulo (Rapido, Skarabey, and Spector) and Hijo De Stuka Jr. against the fan-favorite Los Divinos Laguneros trio (Blue Panther, Blue Panther Jr., and Dark Panther). This bout was an absolute barnburner, with all six competitors giving it their all in a series of high-impact moves and near-falls. In the end, El Triangulo's experience proved too much for Los Divinos Laguneros, as they secured the win in 13:46.

Match 4: El Terrible, Euforia, and Mephisto vs. Atlantis Jr., Fugaz, and Star Jr.

Next up were two of CMLL's top factions, as El Terrible (Tercio Norte), Euforia, and Mephisto teamed to take on the up-and-coming trio of Atlantis Jr., Fugaz, and Star Jr. This Best Two Out Of Three Falls match was an absolute war, with both sides trading holds and near-falls. In the end, El Terrible's power proved too much for Atlantis Jr.'s team, as they secured the win in 12:37.

Match 5: Soberano Jr. and Volador Jr. vs. Mascara Dorada and Mistico

The penultimate match of the evening saw two of CMLL's top tag teams, as Soberano Jr. and Volador Jr. took on the fan-favorite duo of Mascara Dorada and Mistico. This Best Two Out Of Three Falls Tag Team Match was an absolute thriller, with all four competitors delivering their signature moves and showcasing their incredible aerial abilities. In the end, it was Soberano Jr. and Volador Jr. that emerged victorious, securing the win in 12:10.

Main Event: El Barbaro Cavernario vs. Stuka Jr. (CMLL Rey Del Inframundo Title Match)

And finally, it all came down to this - a thrilling one-on-one match for the CMLL Rey Del Inframundo Championship between the reigning champion El Barbaro Cavernario and the challenger Stuka Jr. This bout was an absolute war from start to finish, with both competitors delivering their signature moves and giving it their all. In the end, it was El Barbaro Cavernario who retained his title, defeating Stuka Jr. in a hard-fought 15:05.

"La Noche de los Campeones" was an absolute must-see event from start to finish, with every match delivering on its promise of high-flying action and thrilling storytelling.
