ECW November to Remember Review

By Michael Cox, Zohash.com Exclusive Reporter

Last night at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, New York, Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) presented their highly anticipated November to Remember pay-per-view event, featuring a stacked card that left fans on the edge of their seats. As your trusted correspondent, I was ringside to witness all the action unfold.

The evening kicked off with Spike Dudley taking down Simon Diamond in a solid singles match. The 2:59 time frame showcased the young talent's agility and quickness as he secured the victory. A promising start to the night, but it was only the beginning.

Little Guido then made his mark by defeating Nova in another thrilling contest. This time around, we saw a more methodical approach from the Italian Stallion, ultimately resulting in a 4:20 match duration. These early matches set the tone for an unforgettable evening of professional wrestling.

Next up, Jerry Lynn proved himself to be a true showman, outlasting both Super Crazy and Yoshihiro Tajiri in a thrilling three-way elimination match. The 10:59 time frame showcased Lynn's tenacity and cunning as he navigated the chaos to claim victory. This bout demonstrated why ECW is renowned for its unpredictable action.

The four-on-three handicap match that followed saw Da Baldies (Angel, DeVito, PN Neuz, and Vito LoGrasso) take on Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, and New Jack in a wild and entertaining contest. The 8:21 duration was a testament to the sheer energy and intensity of this chaotic encounter.

Sabu's singles match against Chris Candido was an absolute highlight of the night. Their 17:42 battle showcased both men's incredible athleticism, as they took each other to the limit in a thrilling display of aerial stunts and grappling prowess. Sabu ultimately emerged victorious, further solidifying his reputation as one of ECW's top stars.

The main event saw Mike Awesome challenge Masato Tanaka for the ECW Heavyweight Title. The 12:26 time frame was indicative of the high-stakes drama that unfolded as both men battled fiercely for the coveted championship. In the end, Awesome emerged victorious, claiming the title and cementing his status as a top contender in the world of professional wrestling.

The evening's co-main event pitted Rob Van Dam against Taz for the ECW World Television Title. This thrilling contest saw VD successfully defend his title, outlasting Taz in a 14:34 battle that showcased both men's incredible aerial abilities and technical prowess.

Rounding out the night was the six-man tag team match featuring Rhino, The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm), taking on Raven, The Sandman, and Tommy Dreamer. This high-energy encounter saw the teams clash in a 9:19 battle that was equal parts chaos and excitement. In the end, Rhino and his cohorts emerged victorious, capping off an unforgettable evening of ECW action.

As I left the Burt Flickinger Center last night, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have witnessed such an incredible display of athleticism, drama, and sheer entertainment. November to Remember will undoubtedly go down as one of the most memorable ECW events in recent history. For those who tuned in, it was a true treat for the eyes.
