IMPACT WRESTLING'S BOUND FOR GLORY KICKS OFF WITH A WHIMPER BUT ENDS WITH A BANG

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - November 5th, 2017 was a day that would be etched in the memories of Impact Wrestling fans for a long time to come. The much-hyped Bound For Glory event at the Aberdeen Pavilion delivered on its promise of thrills and spills, with some unforgettable moments and matches that will be remembered for years to come.

The night began with a bang as Trevor Lee won the Impact X-Division Title in a thrilling Six Way Match. Lee, who has been on a tear lately, outlasted Dezmond Xavier, Garza Jr., Matt Sydal, Petey Williams, and Sonjay Dutt in a match that had the crowd on their feet from start to finish. The 12:40 time frame was impressive, considering the number of participants involved.

Next up was Taiji Ishimori, who took down Tyson Dux with ease in a Singles Match that clocked in at just 4:50. While not the most memorable match of the evening, it was a good showcase for the talented Ishimori.

In the end, Abyss emerged victorious at 10:55, but both men earned major props for their efforts.

The Six-Man Tag Team Match that followed was another story altogether. Eddie Edwards, Ethan Carter III, and James Storm teamed up to take down El Hijo del Fantasma, El Texano Jr., and Pagano in a match that was more about the chaos than the actual wrestling. At 15:25, this one was all about setting the table for what was to come.

And then came oVe (Dave Crist and Jake Crist) vs Latin American Exchange (Ortiz and Santana) in an Impact World Tag Team Title Street Fight. This one was an absolute war - complete with tables, chairs, and even a few broken bodies. In the end, oVe emerged victorious at 10:21, but LAX earned major respect for their efforts.

The Knockouts Division stole the show next as Gail Kim took down Allie and Sienna in an Impact Knockouts Title Three Way Match. This one was all about showcasing Kim's incredible technical prowess - a true masterclass from one of the best in the business.

King Mo and Lashley then teamed up to take down Moose and Stephan Bonnar in a Six Sides Of Steel Tag Team Match that had the crowd on their feet from start to finish. This one was an absolute brawl, complete with steel chairs and a healthy dose of chaos. At 10:38, this match was all about delivering what it promised - a wild and crazy ride.

And then, there was Eli Drake vs Johnny Impact for the Impact World Title. In a match that clocked in at 19:33, Drake did everything he could to hang with Impact, but in the end, Impact just had too much going on. This one was all about delivering what it promised - a thrilling main event with a worthy champion.

In the end, Bound For Glory was an absolute success. While some matches may have been better than others, this event had everything you could ask for in a professional wrestling show - action, drama, and even a little bit of chaos.
