New Japan Pro Wrestling Live TV-Show Report - March 6th, 2019

The Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan played host to a thrilling night of professional wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling presented their latest live TV-show. A packed house of 4000 fans bore witness to an action-packed card that featured some of the best talent in the world.

Match 1: Ten-Man Tag Team Match

The evening kicked off with a ten-man tag team match featuring Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens, Hikuleo, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) taking on Ayato Yoshida, Ren Narita, Shota Umino, Togi Makabe and Toru Yano. In a chaotic affair, Bullet Club emerged victorious in 9 minutes and 12 seconds.

Match 2: Tag Team Match

Next up was a tag team match pitting Tomohiro Ishii and YOSHI-HASHI against Toa Henare and Yuji Nagata. The bout featured some impressive exchanges between the teams before Ishii and HASHI secured the win in 12 minutes and 9 seconds.

Match 3: Ten-Man Tag Team Match

The Suzuki-gun squad (El Desperado, Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, TAKA Michinoku and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) faced off against Dragon Lee, Ryusuke Taguchi, Satoshi Kojima, Tiger Mask and Tomoaki Honma in another ten-man tag team match. Despite being the underdogs, the babyface team managed to come out on top in 11 minutes and 5 seconds.

Match 4: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match

Roppongi 3K (SHO and YOH) put their titles on the line against Los Ingobernables de Japon. The match was a hard-hitting, fast-paced affair that saw Roppongi 3K successfully retain their championships.

Match 5: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title Match

Taiji Ishimori challenged Jushin Thunder Liger for the junior heavyweight title in what turned out to be a thrilling encounter. In the end, Ishimori emerged victorious and left with the title after a 15 minute and 51 second battle.

Match 6: Six-Man Tag Team Match

The main event saw Hirooki Goto, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada team up against Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL, SANADA and Tetsuya Naito). The bout featured some impressive teamwork from the babyface trio before they secured the win in 12 minutes and 58 seconds.

Main Event: Non-Title Match

The night's main event saw Jay White take on Will Ospreay in a non-title match. In what was arguably the best match of the evening, White managed to edge out Ospreay after a grueling 29 minute and 7 second contest.
