Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan - May 17th, 2017

The sun may have been shining bright in the Tokyo skies, but the real excitement was taking place inside Korakuen Hall as New Japan Pro Wrestling presented a thrilling TV show. The packed arena was treated to an action-packed evening of wrestling that showcased some of the best talent from around the world.

Best Of The Super Junior XXIV

The card kicked off with a bang as TAKA Michinoku took on Jushin Thunder Liger in Block A match. Michinoku, looking revitalized, put up a strong showing against the legendary Liger. Despite Liger's best efforts, Michinoku managed to secure the win via pinfall (08:33).

Next up was Volador Jr. taking on Tiger Mask in Block B. The high-flying Volador Jr. showed no signs of slowing down as he delivered a series of impressive moves, ultimately securing the victory over Tiger Mask (09:48).

The pace didn't let up as Ricochet faced off against Taichi in another Block A match. Ricochet's athleticism was on full display as he took down Taichi with a devastating 630 Senton Bomb to secure the win (08:56).

Block B saw ACH take on BUSHI, and it was clear that both men were eager to make an impact. ACH's innovative moveset left BUSHI reeling, leading to a hard-fought victory for the American (10:47).

The first half of the show concluded with El Desperado facing off against KUSHIDA in Block B. Both men showed incredible skill and tenacity, but it was El Desperado who emerged victorious after a thrilling match that went the full 11 minutes (11:00).

Main Event

As the crowd continued to build in energy, Marty Scurll took on Will Ospreay in what was arguably the most anticipated matchup of the night. These two superstars delivered a truly unforgettable contest, with both men showcasing their incredible aerial abilities and technical prowess. In the end, it was Scurll who secured the win via pinfall (12:11).

The final match of the evening saw Ryusuke Taguchi face off against Yoshinobu Kanemaru in Block B. Taguchi's unorthodox style proved to be the perfect counter to Kanemaru's high-flying offense, leading to a well-deserved victory for the Japanese veteran (11:27).

The main event of the evening saw Dragon Lee take on Hiromu Takahashi in Block A. This was an absolute barnburner of a match that had everyone on the edge of their seats. In the end, it was Lee who emerged victorious after a grueling 18:56-long contest.

Overall, this was a fantastic show from NJPW that showcased some of the best talent in the world today. The crowd was treated to an incredible array of matches, each one more thrilling than the last. Here's hoping we see many more of these high-energy shows in the future.
