The New Japan Pro Wrestling's "King of Pro-Wrestling" pay-per-view event brought together a talented roster of wrestlers from around the world. The event was highlighted by three title matches and several exciting singles bouts.

Match #1: Ten-Man Tag Team Match

CHAOS (Gedo, Hideo Saito, Jado, Takashi Iizuka, and Tomohiro Ishii) took on Killer Rabbit, KUSHIDA, Schwarz, Tiger Mask, and Weiss. This high-energy opener saw all ten competitors involved in a chaotic match that ultimately ended with the babyface team emerging victorious.

Match #2: Singles Match

Yujiro Takahashi faced off against Tomoaki Honma in a clash of styles. The experienced Takahashi used his cunning to outmaneuver the enthusiastic Honma, securing the win in 8 minutes and 22 seconds.

Match #3: Singles Match

Lance Archer looked to assert his dominance over Wataru Inoue. The larger-than-life American wrestler used his power to overpower Inoue, finishing him off with a devastating spear in 7 minutes and 39 seconds.

Match #4: Tag Team Match

Shinsuke Nakamura and Ultimo Guerrero faced Hirooki Goto and Tama Tonga in a test of strength and agility. The experienced tandem of Goto and Tonga proved too much for their opponents, securing the win in 11 minutes and 3 seconds.

Match #5: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match

No Remorse Corps (Davey Richards and Rocky Romero) put their titles on the line against Apollo 55. The high-flying antics of Apollo 55 were matched by the technical prowess of No Remorse Corps, who successfully retained their championships.

Match #6: Singles Match

Satoshi Kojima faced Hiroyoshi Tenzan in a battle of veteran wrestlers. Kojima's experience and skill ultimately paid off, as he secured the win in 10 minutes and 8 seconds.

Match #7: Singles Match

Yuji Nagata clashed with Toru Yano in a hard-hitting bout. Nagata's power proved too much for Yano, who was forced to submit after 12 minutes and 8 seconds of intense action.

Match #8: IWGP Intercontinental Title Match

Masato Tanaka challenged MVP for the Intercontinental Championship. Tanaka's technical grappling skills were matched by MVP's athleticism, but ultimately, Tanaka emerged victorious to become the new champion.

Match #9: Singles Match

Minoru Suzuki faced Togi Makabe in a no-holds-barred brawl. The experienced Suzuki used his cunning and strength to outmaneuver Makabe, securing the win in 13 minutes and 14 seconds.

Main Event: IWGP Heavyweight Title Match

Hiroshi Tanahashi put his Heavyweight Championship on the line against Tetsuya Naito. This highly anticipated bout lived up to expectations, with both men trading near-falls and showing incredible resilience. In the end, Tanahashi's experience and skill proved too much for Naito, as he successfully retained his title in a thrilling 29-minute and 19-second contest.

The "King of Pro-Wrestling" event was an excellent showcase of NJPW's talent pool, featuring several exciting matches and a thrilling main event. While some of the undercard bouts may have been overshadowed by the bigger title matches, each competitor brought their A-game to the ring, making for a memorable evening in Tokyo.

Recommendation: If you're a fan of professional wrestling or looking to explore NJPW's offerings, "King of Pro-Wrestling" is an excellent starting point. The event features a mix of styles and match types, ensuring something for everyone.
