JUNIOR STRONGHOLD PPV RECAP

New Japan Pro Wrestling's latest Pay-Per-View offering, Junior Stronghold, went down at the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka, Japan, drawing a packed house of 6,850 enthusiastic fans. The stacked card delivered on its promise of non-stop action and excitement, with several memorable matches and a thrilling main event.

Match of the Night: Low Ki vs. Ryusuke Taguchi (IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title)

The first hour of the show was all about setting the tone for what would be a wild ride ahead. The opener between Golden Lovers, Daisuke Sasaki, and BUSHI on one side, and KUSHIDA, Prince Devitt, and Prince Nana on the other, got things off to a flying start. A chaotic six-man tag team match that saw everyone involved get their licks in, it was a perfect primer for what was to come.

The main event, however, stole the show. Low Ki's impressive technical grappling skills were put to the test against Ryusuke Taguchi's unorthodox style, resulting in an incredible IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title match that went 12:32. Both men left it all in the ring, with Ki ultimately emerging victorious.

Title Tussles

The tag team title scene was shaken up, as CHAOS (Takashi Iizuka and Toru Yano) successfully defended their belts against TenKoji (Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima). The match was a wild affair that saw both teams trade near-falls, but ultimately ended in a double count-out. A rematch between the two units later in the night resulted in a No Contest when CHAOS refused to continue after an intense sequence.

The main event of the evening featured Hiroshi Tanahashi putting his IWGP Heavyweight Title on the line against Kazuchika Okada. These two wrestling giants put on a show, with Tanahashi retaining his title via a thrilling 16:21 match that showcased their incredible chemistry and athleticism.

Other Notable Matches

CHAOS (Masato Tanaka and Shinsuke Nakamura) dominated Hirooki Goto and Tetsuya Naito in an excellent tag team match, while MVP and Shelton Benjamin's technical prowess got the better of Karl Anderson and Tama Tonga. Jushin Thunder Liger and Tiger Mask successfully defended their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against Suzuki-gun.

New Japan Pro Wrestling's Junior Stronghold PPV was a resounding success, offering fans a card that had something for everyone. From the chaotic opener to the thrilling main event, each match brought its own unique brand of excitement and entertainment.
