JUNE JAW-DROPPER IN OSAKA: NJPW DELIVERS THRILLING CARD

Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Osaka, Japan - June 19, 2010

The New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) faithful were treated to a night of non-stop action at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium as the promotion's latest pay-per-view extravaganza came to town. In front of a sold-out crowd of 5,500 enthusiastic fans, NJPW delivered a card that will be remembered for some time to come.

The evening kicked off with a six-man tag team match featuring Akira, El Samurai, and Koji Kanemoto against Ryusuke Taguchi, Super Strong Machine, and Tama Tonga. The high-flying action was non-stop from the opening bell, with all six competitors giving it their all in an entertaining 8:48 affair.

Next up were the CHAOS trio of Gedo, Takashi Iizuka, and Tomohiro Ishii, who faced off against KUSHIDA, Manabu Nakanishi, and Mitsuhide Hirasawa. This match saw a marked increase in intensity, with the CHAOS team employing their trademark dirty tactics to gain the upper hand.

In singles action, Mohammed Yone made quick work of Tomoaki Honma, finishing him off with his patented Lariat move in just 8:58. Meanwhile, Shinsuke Nakamura continued his ascent up the NJPW ranks with a decisive victory over Daniel Puder, wrapping things up in a mere 4:41.

The first half of the card concluded with Hirooki Goto and Masato Tanaka engaging in a hard-hitting contest that saw Goto emerge victorious after 13:39 minutes. The action was non-stop throughout this one, with both men giving it their all.

The main event portion of the show got underway with Bad Intentions (Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson) taking on Seigigun (Wataru Inoue and Yuji Nagata) and NO LIMIT in a thrilling three-way elimination match for the IWGP Tag Team Titles. This one was an absolute barnburner, with all six competitors putting their bodies on the line in pursuit of victory.

In the penultimate contest, Prince Devitt successfully defended his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title against Naomichi Marufuji, proving himself to be a true champion by outlasting the challenger for 20 minutes and change.

The crowd was electric as Hiroshi Tanahashi took on Toru Yano in a hair vs. hair match, with the winner earning the freedom to keep their locks intact. In the end, it was Tanahashi who emerged victorious, leaving his defeated opponent bald and bewildered.

Finally, Togi Makabe put forth an incredible effort to defeat Go Shiozaki and retain his IWGP Heavyweight Title in a thrilling 20:40 affair. This one was an instant classic, with both men giving it their all and leaving the crowd on its collective feet at the final bell.

In conclusion, NJPW's latest pay-per-view outing was an absolute success from start to finish. With a card that boasted something for everyone, the promotion once again proved itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional wrestling. Until next time, that is...
