A packed house of 6,200 enthusiastic fans witnessed an unforgettable evening of professional wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling brought forth their latest Pay Per View extravaganza, "Bushido"!

Tag Team Mayhem to Kick Things Off!

The night began with a high-energy Tag Team Match pitting Masahito Kakihara and Masayuki Naruse against Blue Wolf and Wataru Inoue. The action was fast-paced from the opening bell, with both teams trading holds and near-falls. In the end, it was Kakihara and Naruse who emerged victorious, pinning their opponents in a thrilling 5:50.

Six-Man Mayhem Ensues!

The first of three Block A matches saw TEAM2000 (Gedo, Jado, and Koji Kanemoto) take on El Samurai, Jushin Thunder Liger, and Minoru Tanaka. This six-man free-for-all was a showcase for the technical prowess of all involved, with each team showcasing their unique blend of skills. In the end, TEAM2000's experience and cohesion proved too much, as they secured the win in an impressive 14:32.

G1 Climax Action Heats Up!

The main event focus shifted to the G1 Climax tournament, where Hiroshi Tanahashi faced off against Shiro Koshinaka. Tanahashi, seeking to prove his mettle, dominated the early going before Koshinaka launched a spirited comeback. In the end, Tanahashi's sheer power and athleticism earned him the win in 8:52.

Next up was Hiroyoshi Tenzan versus Yutaka Yoshie in another Block A match. This contest featured two of NJPW's most physically gifted competitors going toe-to-toe, with neither giving an inch. In a stunning upset, Tenzan managed to outlast Yoshie, securing the win in 15:53.

More G1 Climax Action!

In Block B, Kenzo Suzuki took on Tadao Yasuda in a match that saw the veteran Suzuki prove his value by quickly dispatching his opponent. The pin came at just 37 seconds, showcasing Suzuki's continued dominance.

Meanwhile, Manabu Nakanishi found himself in a thrilling draw with Osamu Nishimura, the two competitors unable to separate themselves before the time limit expired at 30:00.

Rounding out the G1 Climax action was Yuji Nagata versus Masahiro Chono. This intense match saw both men push each other to their limits, but in the end, Nagata's cunning and agility earned him the win in 16:00.

Kensuke Sasaki Stands Tall!

In the penultimate match of the evening, Kensuke Sasaki faced off against Yoshihiro Takayama. This clash of the titans saw both men trading blows and near-falls before Sasaki's sheer strength and resilience allowed him to secure the win in 12:11.

The Main Event Stunner!

And finally, in a match that stole the show, Hiroshi Tanahashi took on Shiro Koshinaka in another Block A G1 Climax contest. This was an instant classic, with both men putting everything on the line. In the end, Tanahashi emerged victorious once more, this time by way of a stunning 16:00 pin.
