NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS ANOTHER THRILLING CARD AT NIPPON BUDOKAN

The storied Nippon Budokan played host to another electrifying night of professional wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) brought the heat to the Tokyo, Japan crowd. In front of a sold-out crowd of 9,641 fans, the promotion delivered a stacked card that saw some of the biggest names in the sport put on a show for the ages.

Tag Team Action Kicks Things Off

The evening got underway with a pair of tag team matches that showcased the talents of some of NJPW's up-and-coming stars. In the opening contest, Jon Moxley and Shota Umino proved to be an unstoppable force as they dispatched Juice Robinson and Ren Narita in just 3:41. The chemistry between Moxley and Umino was on full display as they worked together seamlessly to secure the victory.

Next up, Jeff Cobb and Toa Henare squared off against Tomoaki Honma and Toru Yano in a bout that saw the veterans of NJPW get some revenge against their younger opponents. Despite being the underdogs, Honma and Yano pushed Cobb and Henare to the limit before eventually falling in 5:23.

Six-Man Mayhem

The first half of the evening culminated with two high-stakes six-man tag team matches that pitted Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) against CHAOS (Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, and YOSHI-HASHI), as well as Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, and Tetsuya Naito) against BULLET CLUB (Chase Owens, Jay White, and Yujiro Takahashi).

Suzuki-gun emerged victorious in the first match, with Minoru Suzuki leading his team to a hard-fought win over CHAOS. The intensity was palpable as these two groups clashed, with the crowd fully invested in every moment of action.

Meanwhile, Los Ingobernables de Japon proved too much for BULLET CLUB, as they dominated their opponents en route to an impressive victory. This bout featured some thrilling moments, including a series of high-impact moves from Takagi that left the audience on their feet.

G1 Climax 2019 Action

As the night wore on, attention turned to the G1 Climax 2019 tournament, where several block A matches took place. In the first bout, Lance Archer notched an impressive win over EVIL, using his power and cunning to secure a 10:02 victory.

Next up, Bad Luck Fale picked up a much-needed win by defeating SANADA in 10:38. This match featured some intense exchanges between these two competitors, with Fale ultimately emerging victorious thanks to his signature bad luck bomb finisher.

Zack Sabre Jr. then faced off against KENTA in a bout that saw both men give it their all. Despite the valiant efforts of both wrestlers, Sabre Jr. managed to emerge victorious, pinning KENTA in 16:26 after a series of vicious arm drags and submissions.

Will Ospreay followed with an impressive win over Hiroshi Tanahashi, using his incredible aerial abilities to outmaneuver his opponent and secure the victory in 17:12.

Finally, Kota Ibushi capped off the evening's G1 Climax action by defeating Kazuchika Okada in a thrilling match that saw both men push each other to the limit. The crowd was fully invested throughout this contest, which ultimately ended with Ibushi scoring the pin in 25:07 after a series of rapid-fire strikes and a picture-perfect high-flying move.
