New Japan Pro Wrestling Delivers Thrilling Night at Korakuen Hall

Tokyo, Japan - In front of a lively crowd of 1726 at Korakuen Hall, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) presented a stacked card that featured a mix of high-flying action and intense grappling. The show was broadcast live on July 18th, and it did not disappoint.

The evening kicked off with a solid tag team match between Jon Moxley and Shota Umino taking on Tomohiro Ishii and Yuya Uemura. Moxley's power and Umino's agility proved to be too much for the opposing duo, as they secured the win in 5:46.

CHAOS, comprised of Jeff Cobb, Juice Robinson, Toa Henare, and Yota Tsuji, looked sharp in their six-man tag team match against BULLET CLUB. Despite a strong effort from the BULLET CLUB trio (Chase Owens, Jay White, and Yujiro Takahashi), CHAOS emerged victorious in 9:30.

The first half of the show concluded with Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) defeating Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, and Tetsuya Naito) in another six-man tag team contest. The Suzuki-gun trio's technical prowess proved to be too much for the L.I.J. trio, as they claimed the win in 8:35.

The G1 Climax 2019 Block A matches took center stage in the second half of the show. KENTA started things off with a dominant performance against Lance Archer, submitting his opponent in 11:58.

Next up was EVIL, who faced SANADA in what turned out to be an absolute barnburner. The two competitors put on a thrilling match that saw EVIL emerge victorious after a long and grueling 18:11 contest.

Kazuchika Okada then took on Bad Luck Fale in a well-paced match that featured a mix of strikes and grappling. Okada's experience proved to be the deciding factor, as he pinned Fale in 10:15.

Hiroshi Tanahashi followed with a strong performance against Zack Sabre Jr. The two competitors engaged in a technical battle that saw Tanahashi ultimately secure the win in 13:56.

The main event of the evening featured Kota Ibushi taking on Will Ospreay in what was arguably the match of the night. These two high-flying warriors put on an absolute show, with Ibushi ultimately emerging victorious after a breathtaking 27:16 contest that featured multiple near-falls and a dramatic finish.

All in all, NJPW presented a fantastic card at Korakuen Hall, featuring a mix of action-packed matches and intense grappling battles. If you missed the broadcast, do yourself a favor and seek it out - you won't be disappointed!
