NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING REPORT
Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan - July 19, 2019
Last night's card at Korakuen Hall featured a stacked lineup of matches from the world of New Japan Pro Wrestling. The packed crowd was treated to a mix of tag team action and individual bouts, with the main event showcasing some of the top names in the sport.
Tag Team Mayhem
The evening began with two tag team matches, pitting Suzuki-Gun against Bullet Club and CHAOS against Toa Henare and Will Ospreay. The first match saw Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens represent the Bullet Club, taking on Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Zack Sabre Jr. of Suzuki-Gun. In a closely contested bout, the Bullet Club duo emerged victorious, with Fale delivering a devastating Bad Luck Fall to secure the win.
In the second tag team match, Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer teamed up as Suzuki-Gun, facing off against Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomoaki Honma. This one was all Suzuki-Gun, as Archer's impressive power and Suzuki's cunning grappling skills proved too much for their opponents. The time limit expired at 9:48, with Suzuki-Gun standing tall.
Six-Man Mayhem
The first of two six-man tag team matches saw Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, EVIL, and SANADA) take on Clark Connors, KENTA, and Kota Ibushi. This was a wild and unpredictable affair, with each team trading moves and near-falls throughout. In the end, it was Los Ingobernables who emerged victorious, with BUSHI delivering a devastating Busa Driver to seal the deal.
G1 Climax Action
The G1 Climax 2019 Block B matches took center stage next, with five individual bouts featuring some of the top talent in the sport. Shingo Takagi started things off, taking on Taichi and emerging victorious after a grueling 14:40 match.
Jeff Cobb followed suit, defeating Juice Robinson in a hard-hitting contest that saw both men leave everything in the ring. The time limit expired at 13:21, with Cobb standing tall.
In another Block B matchup, Toru Yano made quick work of Jay White, finishing him off with a devastating spear in just 3:04 minutes.
Tetsuya Naito and Hirooki Goto squared off next, engaging in an epic battle that saw both men give it their all. In the end, it was Naito who emerged victorious, with his submission skills proving too much for Goto to handle.
Finally, Jon Moxley took on Tomohiro Ishii in a match that showcased the best of both worlds. This was a hard-hitting contest from start to finish, with both men trading moves and near-falls throughout. In the end, it was Moxley who stood tall, emerging victorious after 20:36 minutes.
A Night to Remember
Overall, last night's card at Korakuen Hall was an absolute thrill ride, featuring a mix of tag team action and individual bouts that showcased the best of New Japan Pro Wrestling. With the G1 Climax heats heating up, fans are in for a treat as these matches continue to unfold.
