New Japan Pro Wrestling's Osaka Extravaganza: A Night of Thrills and Upsets

Last night, the EDION Arena Osaka played host to a stacked card featuring some of New Japan Pro Wrestling's (NJPW) top talent. Zohash.com was on hand to bring you all the action from the 5,050-strong crowd.

The Early Bird Special In the opening match, TenKoji and Juice Robinson teamed up to take down Manabu Nakanishi, Teruaki Kanemitsu, and Yuji Nagata in a high-energy Six-Man Tag Team affair. The bout was over in just 5:49, but it set the tone for an evening of non-stop action.

Tag Team Tussles The next two matches saw some top-notch tag team wrestling on display. In the first, David Finlay, Jushin Thunder Liger, Ricochet, and Tiger Mask combined their forces to take down Angel de Oro, Fuego, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Titan in an 8-Man Tag Team match that clocked in at 5:30. Later, BULLET CLUB (Chase Owens) and Great Bash Heel teamed up to defeat CHAOS's Yoshitatsu in a Six-Man Tag Team match that ran for 7:36.

Title Tilts The IWGP Tag Team Titles were on the line in the fourth match of the evening, as Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) took on CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii and YOSHI-HASHI). The challengers emerged victorious, winning the match in 14:32.

The Super Junior Tag Tournament final saw Roppongi Vice (Beretta and Rocky Romero) outlast ACH and Taiji Ishimori to claim the gold. Their match lasted an impressive 18:49.

Junior Heavyweight Showdown In the main event of the evening, KUSHIDA put his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title on the line against BUSHI. In a thrilling encounter, KUSHIDA retained his title in a match that ran for 12 minutes and change.

NEVER Openweight Chaos The NEVER Openweight Title was up for grabs in an intense match between EVIL and Katsuyori Shibata. The champion emerged victorious, retaining his title in a contest that clocked in at 14:01.

Singles Showdowns Hiroshi Tanahashi and SANADA clashed in a singles match that saw the winner emerge with a dominant victory, his match time clocking in at 21:33. Later, Tetsuya Naito put his IWGP Intercontinental Title on the line against Jay Lethal. The champion retained his title, winning the match in an exhausting 24:29.

The Bottom Line Last night's show was a true showcase of NJPW's depth and talent. With a mix of high-flying tag team action, thrilling singles matches, and title tilts, there was something for everyone in Osaka. The only question now is what the future holds for these competitors. Will we see any rematches or new rivalries emerge? Only time will tell.

That's all for now from Zohash.com. Thanks for joining us on this journey through the world of professional wrestling!
