NJPW's Star-Studded Showdown Shines in Melbourne
Melbourne, Australia - In front of a lively crowd of 1798 at the Festival Hall, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) brought the heat with their latest pay-per-view offering, featuring an array of top-notch matches and star-studded talent. The RevPro Undisputed British Cruiserweight Championship was on the line next, as El Phantasmo clashed with Rocky Romero. The showy El Phantasmo proved too much for the challenger, retaining his title in a 18:45 contest that showcased both men's impressive aerial abilities.
Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) then defended their IWGP Tag Team Titles against Juice Robinson and Mikey Nicholls. The challengers pushed them to the limit, but ultimately fell short, as GOD retained in 11:20.
Main event time! In a thrilling encounter that saw both men push each other to new heights, Will Ospreay successfully defended his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Robbie Eagles. This instant classic lasted an incredible 34:04 and featured some of the most innovative and daring spots you'll ever see in professional wrestling.
Finally, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada teamed up for a tag team match that saw them take on BULLET CLUB's Bad Luck Fale and Jay White. The babyfaces emerged victorious in 19:55, capping off an unforgettable night of action in Melbourne.
