Croxton Showstopper: Shingo Takagi Steals the Spotlight

The Croxton played host to an electric evening of professional wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling brought their unique brand of excitement to Melbourne. A packed house witnessed a night filled with thrilling matches and standout performances.

In the opening contest, The VeloCities (Jude London and Paris De Silva) got things underway by outmaneuvering The Parea (Eli Theseus and Gabriel Aeros) in a tag team match. The VeloCities' quickness and agility proved too much for their opponents, as they claimed victory in 17:15.

Next up was Richard Mulu, who faced off against Jake Taylor in a singles match. Mulu's grappling prowess ultimately gave him the edge, as he emerged victorious in 10:56.

Emman Azman then took to the ring to face Jarvis, and his aggressive style led to an early advantage. However, Jarvis refused to back down, but ultimately fell short at the hands of Azman in 11:17.

The Rogue Army (Bad Luck Fale and Jack Bonza) were next up, looking to continue their winning ways against The Natural Classics (Stevie Filip and Tome Filip). The Rogue Army's power proved too much for their opponents, as they dispatched them in just 7:28.

Slex then squared off against Edward Dusk, with the Australian native using his technical skillset to outmaneuver Dusk. Slex' victory came at the hands of a well-executed armbar submission, securing the win in 13:04.

Hirooki Goto and Mick Moretti engaged in a hard-hitting singles match, with both men giving it their all. In the end, Goto's experience and cunning allowed him to claim victory in 13:32.

Finally, the main event pitted Shingo Takagi against Robbie Eagles. The two competitors went at each other hammer and tongs, trading moves and near-falls throughout. In the end, Takagi's sheer strength and determination proved too much for Eagles, as he secured a thrilling victory in an epic 22:24 match.

As the crowd filed out of The Croxton, there was no denying that Shingo Takagi had stolen the show with his electrifying performance. It will be fascinating to see how New Japan Pro Wrestling's top stars continue to evolve and grow in the coming weeks and months.
