Tokyo Dome Thunderstorms with NJPW's "Inoki Gian"

The Tokyo Dome, a venue that has witnessed some of the most unforgettable moments in professional wrestling history, played host to New Japan Pro Wrestling's latest Pay Per View extravaganza, "Inoki Gian". A sold-out crowd of 38,000-strong packed the massive arena, eager to witness the best of what NJPW had to offer. And boy, did they get their money's worth.

Tag Team Tussles

The night kicked off with a pair of tag team matches that showcased the depth and talent within NJPW's ranks. Osamu Nishimura and Tatsumi Fujinami proved too strong for Riki Choshu and Tomohiro Ishii, emerging victorious in an 8:37-long contest. Later on, Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Yoshihito Sasaki outmaneuvered Koji Kanemoto and Wataru Inoue, securing a hard-fought win in 9:03.

Eight-Man Mayhem

The eight-man tag team match that followed was an absolute free-for-all. Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Naofumi Yamamoto, Takashi Iizuka, and Yutaka Yoshie formed an unstoppable force, taking down Kamikaze, Kohei Sato, Ryouji Sai, and Shinjiro Otani in a thrilling 15:05-long bout.

Title Tilts

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title match saw CTU (Hirooki Goto and Minoru) successfully defend their championship against Felino and Negro Casas. The duo's technical prowess proved too much for their opponents, as they emerged victorious in 10:11.

Meanwhile, Team JAPAN (Kendo Kashin and Manabu Nakanishi) came out on top against Charlie Haas and Mark Jindrak in a tag team match that was more about establishing a sense of cohesion than delivering high-flying action.

Singles Showdowns

Matt Morgan made his NJPW debut with a dominating performance against Yuji Nagata, besting the veteran in 7:00. This was a case of Morgan showing off his impressive power and strength, but it's hard to gauge just how much of an impact he'll have in this new environment.

Junior Heavyweight Action

Black Tiger successfully defended his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title against Tiger Mask in a highly competitive match that showcased both competitors' skills. This was an excellent showcase for the junior heavyweight division, which often gets overshadowed by the more prominent players on the roster.

Main Event Mayhem

The main event featured Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shinsuke Nakamura taking on Toshiaki Kawada and Yoji Anjo in a thrilling tag team match. The action was fast-paced and frenetic, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, the winning duo emerged victorious in 18:11.

Three-Way Mayhem

And then there was Brock Lesnar. The behemoth of a man took on Kazuyuki Fujita and Masahiro Chono in an IWGP Heavyweight Title Three Way Match that will be remembered for years to come. Lesnar's sheer strength and power proved too much for both opponents, as he successfully retained his title in a match that was more about spectacle than storytelling.

In the end, "Inoki Gian" was everything NJPW promised it would be – an action-packed extravaganza that left the crowd of 38,000 on their feet. Here's hoping this is just the beginning of what promises to be a thrilling year for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
