In a stacked card that featured some of the best professional wrestlers in the world, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) delivered an unforgettable night at the Tokyo Dome. The sold-out crowd was treated to a series of electrifying matches, including several championship bouts and a thrilling main event.

PRE-SHOW MATCH The evening kicked off with a pre-show match that set the tone for the rest of the night. In a chaotic New Japan Rambo Match, Chase Owens, CIMA, Minoru Suzuki, and Toru Yano emerged victorious, outlasting a field of 17 competitors to claim the win.

SINGLES MATCH ACTION The first televised bout saw YOH take on SHO in a thrilling singles match. The youngster from CHAOS proved himself to be more than a match for his veteran opponent, ultimately securing the victory with a picture-perfect armbar submission. The match time was 12:32.

TAG TEAM TERROR Next up were two six-man tag team matches that showcased the incredible depth and talent within NJPW's roster. In the first bout, BULLET CLUB (El Phantasmo, KENTA, and Taiji Ishimori) defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi and Mega Coaches in a thrilling match that lasted just 8:40.

The second six-man tag team match saw United Empire (Great-O-Khan, Jeff Cobb, and Will Ospreay) take down Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, SANADA, and Tetsuya Naito) in a hard-hitting contest that clocked in at 9:27.

SINGLES SHOWDOWN Katsuyori Shibata continued his recent resurgence with a dominant performance against Ren Narita. The match time was 11:46 as Shibata showcased his technical prowess and impressive strength to secure the win.

CHAMPIONSHIP ACTION The Never Openweight Title was on the line in the penultimate bout, as EVIL faced Tomohiro Ishii. The challenger proved no match for the formidable champion, falling victim to a devastating Rainmaker kick in 16:18.

IWGP TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH In the first title defense of the evening, Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI (CHAOS) successfully retained their IWGP Tag Team Titles against the formidable Dangerous Tekkers. The match was a testament to the strength and chemistry between the two CHAOS members.

IWGP JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH The main event of the evening saw El Desperado put his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title on the line against Hiromu Takahashi. In a match that showcased both men's incredible skill and athleticism, Desperado ultimately emerged victorious with a thrilling rollup in 16:18.

MAIN EVENT MANIA The night concluded with Kazuchika Okada facing Shingo Takagi for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. In a contest that had everything – intensity, drama, and sheer physicality – Okada proved himself to be the better man, retaining his title with a thunderous Rainmaker kick in 24:52.

In an evening filled with incredible matches and memorable moments, NJPW once again showcased why it is one of the premier professional wrestling promotions in the world. With its unique blend of athleticism, drama, and excitement, the Tokyo Dome event will be remembered as one of the best shows of 2022.
