PRO WRESTLING NOAH: "FALLING DOWN" PPV REVIEW

October 3rd, Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Japan - Attendance: 6,400

Live on Pay-Per-View, the Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion brought their "Falling Down" event to the esteemed Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, a venue that has played host to some of the most electrifying matches in professional wrestling. And while this card may not have been as stacked with superstars, it still delivered in terms of entertainment value.

MATCH 1: TAIJI ISHIMORI VS AKIHIKO ITO

The curtain raiser saw Taiji Ishimori take on Akihiko Ito in a singles match that lasted all of 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Ishimori, known for his high-flying antics, relied heavily on his aerial attacks to secure the victory. Ito, despite his valiant effort, simply couldn't keep up with the pace of the younger competitor.

MATCH 2: RICKY MARVIN & YOSHINARI OGAWA VS GENBA HIRAYANAGI & MASASHI AOYAGI

Tag team action followed as Ricky Marvin and Yoshinari Ogawa teamed up to take on Genba Hirayanagi and Masashi Aoyagi. The bout saw a mix of technical grappling and high-impact strikes, with the winners ultimately emerging victorious after a series of rapid-fire moves.

MATCH 3: SHUHEI TANIGUCHI & TAKESHI MORISHIMA VS MAKOTO HASHI & TSUYOSHI KIKUCHI

The third match featured Shuhei Taniguchi and Takeshi Morishima taking on Makoto Hashi and Tsuyoshi Kikuchi in another tag team contest. This one was a bit more methodical, with both teams working together to create some memorable moments.

MATCH 4: GO SHIOZAKI, KENTA KOBASHI & MASAHIRO CHONO VS AKITOSHI SAITO, MOHAMMED YONE & TAKESHI RIKIO

The main event of the first half saw Go Shiozaki, Kenta Kobashi, and Masahiro Chono team up to take on Akitoshi Saito, Mohammed Yone, and Takeshi Rikio in a six-man tag match. This was the most competitive bout thus far, with all three teams working together to create some thrilling moments.

MATCH 5: DISOBEY (KOTARO SUZUKI & YOSHINOBU KANEMARU) VS GEDO & JADO

The GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles were on the line as Disobey (Kotaro Suzuki and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) put their championships on the line against Gedo and Jado. In a match that saw a mix of technical grappling and high-impact strikes, Disobey emerged victorious after a series of rapid-fire moves.

MATCH 6: YOSHIHIRO TAKAYAMA VS TAKASHI SUGIURA

The penultimate match featured Yoshihiro Takayama taking on Takashi Sugiura in a singles contest. This was the most intense bout thus far, with both competitors giving it their all to emerge victorious.

MATCH 7: HOLY DEMON ARMY (AKIRA TAUE & TOSHIAKI KAWADA) VS JUN AKIYAMA & KENTA

The main event of the evening saw Holy Demon Army (Akira Taue and Toshiaki Kawada) take on Jun Akiyama and Kenta in a tag team match. This was the most competitive bout thus far, with all four competitors giving it their all to emerge victorious.

Overall, while this card may not have been as stacked with superstars, it still delivered in terms of entertainment value. If you're a fan of Pro Wrestling NOAH, then "Falling Down" is definitely worth checking out. And for those who are new to the promotion, this event serves as a great introduction to the world of professional wrestling. Rating: 3.5/5
