ROH RINGSIDE REPORT

Lexington, Kentucky's Rupp Arena played host to an action-packed evening of professional wrestling as Ring Of Honor (ROH) brought the heat to the Bluegrass State. The event was streamed online and taped for broadcast on August 30th.

In a thrilling opener, Zack Sabre Jr. successfully defended his NJPW World Television Title against Metalik, securing the victory in an intense 8:28 match. The technical mastery of Sabre Jr. proved too much for the challenger, as he locked in the Achilles Heel to secure the win.

Next up was Josh Woods, who took on John Walters in a singles match that lasted a mere 2:39. Woods showcased his high-flying abilities, connecting with a picture-perfect top-rope cutter to put away Walters and earn the win.

The six-man tag team match featuring Lee Moriarty and The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake) against BEEF, Invictus Khash, and Lord Crewe was an absolute barnburner. The WorkHorsemen duo proved to be the difference-maker, with Henry delivering a vicious knee lift to Lord Crewe before Drake finished him off with the WorkHorse Slam. The time of 4:19 only added to the match's frenetic pace.

Cole Karter looked impressive in his quick 1:24 victory over Dustin Jackson, showcasing his agility and quickness en route to the win. Emi Sakura followed suit, besting Alice Crowley in a 3:11 contest that saw her utilize her patented armbar submission to secure the submission victory.

The tag team match between Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico) and The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) was a wild ride, with both teams trading moves and near-falls. In the end, it was SAP's Angelico who delivered a devastating package piledriver to Truth Magnum, allowing his partner to pin Turbo Floyd and secure the win in 4:50.

Marina Shafir made quick work of Angelica Risk, submitting her opponent in just 2:34 with a vicious armbar. The action-packed undercard concluded with Shafir's victory.

The main event saw The Mogul Embassy (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, and Toa Liona) take on Action Andretti, Darius Martin, and Lee Johnson for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles. In a thrilling contest that lasted 9:45, The Mogul Embassy proved their worth, with Bishop Kaun delivering a thunderous splash to Lee Johnson before Cage finished him off with the Drill Sergeant Driver.

In the end, it was another successful evening of professional wrestling for Ring Of Honor, as they brought the excitement and action to the fans in Lexington. Until next time, that's all for now from your correspondent at RINGSIDE!
