"A Night of Chaos and Destruction": Impact Wrestling's Final Resolution Review

December 20th, 2009, Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida - It was a night to remember as Impact Wrestling presented their annual "Final Resolution" pay-per-view event. And boy, did they deliver! The card was stacked with talent, featuring a mix of established stars and up-and-comers looking to make a name for themselves.

The Tag Team Title Match: The night kicked off with the British Invasion (Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams) taking on the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) for the Impact World Tag Team Titles. This one was an absolute barnburner, with both teams trading holds and moves in a frenetic pace. In the end, it was the British Invasion who emerged victorious, retaining their titles in 11:46 of fast-paced action.

Knockouts Chaos: Tara and ODB went at it in a Knockouts Title Match that saw plenty of drama and intensity. These two ladies know how to bring the heat, and this match was no exception. Tara managed to outmaneuver ODB, securing the win in 10:45 of back-and-forth action.

Feast or Fired: This unique match type always brings the excitement, and tonight's edition was no different. Abdul Bashir, Big Rob, Kevin Nash, and Samoa Joe took on Cody Deaner, Consequences Creed, Eric Young, Homicide, James Storm, Jay Lethal, Kiyoshi, and Robert Roode in a wild free-for-all. In the end, it was the winners who emerged victorious, with each member of the victors' team earning a chance to earn a contract on the line.

Eight-Man Elimination: This one featured some big names, as D'Angelo Dinero, Hernandez, Matt Morgan, and Suicide took on Jesse Neal, Rhino, Team 3D (Brother Devon and Brother Ray), in an elimination tag match. The action was non-stop, with bodies flying everywhere. In the end, it was the team of D'Angelo Dinero, Hernandez, Matt Morgan, and Suicide who emerged victorious, last eliminating Rhino in 16:29.

Last Man Standing: Bobby Lashley took on Scott Steiner in a Last Man Standing match that had plenty of carnage. These two big men went toe-to-toe, with neither willing to give an inch. In the end, it was Lashley who managed to outlast Steiner, earning the win in 8:55.

Foley's House of Fun: This one was all about nostalgia, as Abyss and Mick Foley took on Dr. Stevie and Raven in a wild tag team match. The action was unpredictable and hilarious, with plenty of kazoos and silly string getting involved. In the end, it was the duo of Abyss and Mick Foley who emerged victorious, last eliminating Raven in 9:30.

Three Degrees of Pain: Desmond Wolfe took on Kurt Angle in this unique match type. Wolfe put up a valiant effort, but Angle's sheer strength and determination proved too much for him. The action was intense and physical, with Angle ultimately emerging victorious in 25:33.

Main Event Mayhem: And finally, we got the main event - AJ Styles taking on Daniels for the Impact World Title. This one was a real barnburner, with both men trading holds and moves in an incredible display of athleticism. In the end, it was Styles who managed to outmaneuver Daniels, retaining his title in 21:01.

Final Thoughts: Overall, this was a fantastic pay-per-view that featured some amazing matches and moments. The crowd was hot all night long, and each match delivered in its own unique way. If you're a fan of Impact Wrestling, you won't want to miss this one.
