Impact Wrestling Live from Orlando, Florida - May 15th, 2005

A sell-out crowd of 775 packed the Universal Resort in Orlando, Florida last night as Impact Wrestling brought its A-game to the Sunshine State. The night was filled with thrilling action, unexpected twists, and a few surprises that left fans on the edge of their seats.

Tag Team Chaos

The evening kicked off with a frenetic Tag Team Match featuring Team Canada (Eric Young and Petey Williams) taking on Apolo and Sonny Siaki. In a shocking upset, the Canadian duo emerged victorious, pinning their opponents in just 8 minutes and 9 seconds.

Next up was a Mixed Tag Team Match pitting Michael Shane and Trinity against Chris Sabin and Traci. This one was all about high-flying action, with both teams delivering aerial attacks galore. In the end, it was Shane and Trinity who came out on top, clocking in at an impressive 10 minutes and 18 seconds.

House of Fun

The Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match between Raven and Sean Waltman was a true showstopper. The two competitors put everything on the line in this bizarre bout, which saw them using household items to inflict damage. In the end, it was Raven who emerged victorious, submitting Waltman after an agonizing 13 minutes and 22 seconds.

Tag Team Tussle

The first half of the card wrapped up with a pair of Tag Team Matches. First, Monty Brown and The Outlaw took on Diamond Dallas Page and Ron Killings in a hard-hitting contest that saw both teams trading blows. In the end, it was Brown and The Outlaw who came out on top, clocking in at an even 8 minutes and 55 seconds.

Next up were The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens), who put their NWA World Tag Team Titles on the line against America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm). This one was all about technical grappling, with both teams delivering intricate moves. In the end, it was The Naturals who retained their titles, clocking in at a respectable 12 minutes.

X-Division Xcitement

The Impact X-Division Title was up for grabs next, as Christopher Daniels faced off against Shocker. This one was all about high-flying action and daredevil moves. In the end, it was Daniels who emerged victorious, clocking in at an impressive 11 minutes and 57 seconds.

Gauntlet of Gold

The main event of the evening was a Gauntlet For The Gold Battle Royal featuring a star-studded lineup that included A1, Apolo, BG James, Bobby Roode, Cassidy Riley, Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper, Eric Young, Jerrelle Clark, Lance Hoyt, Michael Shane, Mikey Batts, Petey Williams, Shark Boy, Sonny Siaki, The Outlaw, Trytan, and Zach Gowen. In a wild and woolly free-for-all, it was Abyss and Ron Killings who emerged victorious, clocking in at an impressive 19 minutes and 30 seconds.

Title Tussle

The penultimate match of the evening saw Abyss face off against Ron Killings for the NWA World Heavyweight Title #1 Contendership. This one was all about power and strength, with both men delivering devastating attacks. In the end, it was Abyss who emerged victorious, clocking in at an even 7 minutes and 20 seconds.

Main Event Mayhem

And finally, AJ Styles faced off against Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. This one was all about technical grappling and high-flying action, with both men delivering incredible moves. In the end, it was Styles who emerged victorious, clocking in at an impressive 12 minutes.
