IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE FROM THE ALBANY ARMORY: A THRILLING NIGHT OF ACTION

Date: May 3rd, 2024 Broadcast Date: May 8th, 2024 Taped at the Albany Armory in Albany, New York, USA

The latest offering from Impact Wrestling proved to be a scintillating affair, featuring an eclectic mix of matches that showcased the best of the promotion's talent. A jam-packed Albany Armory played host to the evening's festivities, which were capped off by a main event that will be etched in the memories of those in attendance for some time to come.

The curtain-raiser saw First Class (AJ Francis and Rich Swann) emerge victorious over The FBI (Ray Jaz and Zack Clayton) in a well-executed tag team contest. Francis, known for his imposing physique, used his sizeable advantage to overwhelm Jaz, allowing Swann to capitalize with a picture-perfect top-rope frogsplash. A solid opening match that served as the perfect warm-up for the evening's proceedings.

Next up was The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) in their Albany Tornado Tag Team Match against Cody Deaner and Jake Something. This one was an absolute barnburner, with all four competitors giving it their all in a frantic, hard-hitting contest. In the end, it was Miguel's quickness that proved to be the decisive factor, as he managed to evade the charging Deaner and connect with a devastating combination of moves to secure the win.

The middle portion of the card saw Jonathan Gresham put on a clinic against Will Ferrara in a singles match. Gresham, one of Impact's most cerebral competitors, used his cunning and technical prowess to outmaneuver the plucky Ferrara at every turn. A beautifully executed armbar submission proved to be the finishing touch, leaving Ferrara no choice but to tap out.

The penultimate match pitted Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey and Trent Seven) against ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) in a thrilling tag team encounter. This one had it all: high-flying action, brutal brawling, and even a bit of humor courtesy of Seven's goofy antics. In the end, it was Bailey who proved to be the difference-maker, connecting with a thunderous top-rope splash to send the crowd into raptures.

And then, there was the main event: a match that will likely be remembered for some time as one of the best in Impact's recent history. The unlikely pairing of AJ Styles and Ethan Page faced off against the high-flying duo of Chris Sabin and Willie Mack Jr. in a wildly unpredictable contest that had everyone on the edge of their seat from start to finish. In the end, it was Styles who emerged victorious, pinning Mack Jr. following a devastating Phenomenal Forearm.

All in all, Impact Wrestling's latest offering from Albany proved to be a true spectacle, with each match building upon the last to create an unforgettable evening of entertainment. With so many great matches and memorable moments on display, it's clear that Impact is very much back in business – and fans couldn't be more thrilled.
