IMPACT WRESTLING'S JOKER'S WILD 2014: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER IN BIRMINGHAM

Birmingham, West Midlands, England - The National Indoor Arena played host to Impact Wrestling's latest Pay Per View extravaganza, Joker's Wild 2014, and what a night it was! The packed arena witnessed some thrilling matches, surprise upsets, and a memorable Gauntlet Battle Royal that will be talked about for weeks to come.

The event kicked off with four first-round tag team matches in the Joker's Wild tournament. The British Invasion (Douglas Williams and Magnus) got things started by defeating Chris Sabin and Gunner in a hard-hitting affair that saw the veteran duo prevail at 8:31. Bad Bones and Samoa Joe then took down Christopher Daniels and Robbie E in 7:12, showcasing their impressive teamwork.

Next up was Bully Ray and Rockstar Spud, who overcame the challenges of Austin Aries and Mr. Anderson to win at 11:51. This match featured plenty of high-flying action and some intense brawling. The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) then sent Beer Money Inc. (Bobby Roode and James Storm) packing in an excellent 11:00 bout.

In the final first-round match, Ethan Carter III and Kazarian emerged victorious over Curry Man and Eric Young at 8:03. This encounter saw some clever strategy from the heel duo, who managed to outmaneuver their opponents.

The women's division was well-represented with a six-woman elimination tag team match that featured Madison Rayne, ODB, Velvet Sky, Alpha Female, Gail Kim, and Lei'D Tapa. In the end, it was the trio of Madison Rayne, ODB, and Velvet Sky who emerged victorious at 7:11.

The main event of the evening was a Gauntlet Battle Royal featuring 12 of Impact's top talent. Abyss, Bad Bones, Bully Ray, Davey Richards, Douglas Williams, Eddie Edwards, Ethan Carter III, Kazarian, Magnus, Rockstar Spud, Samoa Joe, and Samuel Shaw all participated in this chaotic match.

In the end, it was Ethan Carter III who stood tall, last eliminating Samoa Joe to win the Gauntlet at 23:15. This match saw plenty of unexpected moments, including a brief alliance between Bad Bones and Bully Ray that ultimately failed.

Joker's Wild 2014 was an excellent Pay Per View event that showcased Impact Wrestling's diverse roster and provided some memorable moments for fans in attendance. As we look ahead to the next chapter in this tournament, one thing is certain: the road to Destination X just got a whole lot more interesting.
