In a night filled with thrilling matches and unexpected twists, World Championship Wrestling's "SuperBrawl IX" PPV event delivered the goods for fans in attendance at the Oakland Arena. The sold-out crowd of 15,880 was treated to a stacked card featuring some of the biggest names in professional wrestling.

The evening kicked off with Booker T making quick work of Disco Inferno in a singles match. The Harlem Heat alum showcased his signature moves, including the Bookend and a thunderous kick that sent Disco crashing to the mat. The victory came at 9:19, marking a dominant start to the night for the charismatic Texan.

Next up, Chris Jericho continued his impressive winning streak by defeating Perry Saturn in another singles match. Jericho's high-flying antics and technical grappling skills proved too much for the hard-hitting Saturn, with the win coming at 11:17. This marks the third consecutive victory for Y2J on PPV.

The WCW World Cruiserweight Championship was up for grabs when Kidman faced Chavo Guerrero Jr. in a thrilling match that saw both men pushing each other to new heights. In an intense match, it was the Dream Teams that came out on top, setting up a potential title showdown in the near future.

The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) continued their dominance as a tag team by defeating Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. in a thrilling Elizabeth's Hair vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.'s Mask match. The bout saw both teams trading moves, with the Outsiders ultimately emerging victorious at 11:00.

In a battle for the WCW World Television Title, Scott Steiner overcame Diamond Dallas Page to claim the championship gold. The win came at 13:53, capping off an impressive performance from the hard-hitting Steiner.

The United States Championship was also on the line when Scott Hall faced Roddy Piper. In a match that saw both men trading blows and near-falls, it was Hall who emerged victorious, retaining his title in the process.

The main event of the evening featured Goldberg taking on Bam Bam Bigelow in a singles match. The electrifying Goldberg used his trademark spear to devastating effect, ultimately securing the victory at 11:39.
