Match #1: Booker T vs. Rick Martel (WCW World Television Title Match) Booker T continued his reign as WCW World Television Champion with a convincing victory over Rick Martel. Main Event: Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan (WCW World Heavyweight Title Match) In the main event of the evening, Sting defeated Hollywood Hogan to become the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. The match was an intense and physical affair, with both competitors trading blows and showing no quarter. In the end, Sting's determination and cunning proved too much for Hogan, as he submitted him with his patented Scorpion Death Drop.
