WWE Armageddon Report: A Night of Explosive Action in Orlando

The TD Waterhouse Arena in Orlando, Florida played host to the WWE's annual Armageddon pay-per-view extravaganza, and yours truly was fortunate enough to be ringside for all the action. With a sold-out crowd of 9,000 enthusiastic fans on hand, this was an event that promised to deliver, and boy did it ever.

Match 1: Booker T vs. Mark Henry - Singles Match

The night kicked off with a bang as Booker T squared off against the behemoth that is Mark Henry. In what was expected to be a dominant display by Henry, it was actually Booker who came out on top, securing the victory in just under 10 minutes via a roll-up. A great way to start the show.

Match 2: Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam - WWE Intercontinental Title Match (Special Referee: Mick Foley)

In what was shaping up to be an instant classic, Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam clashed in a thrilling Intercontinental title match. With the one-eyed superhero Mick Foley at the helm, these two wrestlers went toe-to-toe in a battle for the ages. In the end, it was Orton who emerged victorious, retaining his title with a clever roll-up.

Match 3: Chris Jericho and Christian vs. Lita and Trish Stratus - Battle Of The Sexes Tag Team Match

The ladies took center stage next as Chris Jericho and Christian put their masculinity on the line against the formidable duo of Lita and Trish Stratus. This one was all about fun, folks, with some great comedy spots and a healthy dose of drama thrown in for good measure. In the end, it was the men who came out on top, much to the delight of the Orlando crowd.

Match 4: Shawn Michaels vs. Batista - Grudge Match

The main event of the night thus far saw two of the WWE's biggest stars go head-to-head in a grudge match for the ages. With bad blood between these two, it was anyone's game, but in the end it was Shawn Michaels who emerged victorious, defeating Batista via a sweet combination of moves that left the Crippler reeling.

Match 5: WWF World Tag Team Title Tag Team Turmoil Gauntlet Match

The chaos continued with this wild tag team turmoil match featuring no less than seven teams vying for the WWF World Tag Team titles. In the end, it was Batista and Ric Flair who emerged victorious, adding to their impressive resume.

Match 6: Molly Holly vs. Ivory - WWE Women's Title Match

The women of the WWE took center stage once more as Molly Holly put her title on the line against Ivory. This one was all about technical grappling, with both competitors showing off their skills in a closely contested match. In the end, it was Holly who retained her title, much to the delight of the Orlando crowd.

Main Event: Triple H vs. Goldberg and Kane - World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat Match

And finally, we came full circle with the main event of the night - a triple threat match featuring Triple H, Goldberg, and Kane vying for the WWE World Heavyweight title. In what was an absolute thrill ride from start to finish, it was Triple H who emerged victorious, retaining his title in the process.

All in all, this was an incredible night of professional wrestling that will be remembered for years to come. The WWE really brought their A-game to Orlando, and it paid off in spades. Until next time, folks... zohash.com
