In a night that will be etched in the memories of wrestling fans forever, WWE delivered a Pay-Per-View extravaganza that had it all - drama, action, and more than a few surprises. WrestleMania 21 was a true spectacle, with some of the biggest names in the business stepping into the ring to put on a show for the ages.

Match 1: Shelton Benjamin vs. Chris Jericho (WWE Intercontinental Title Match) In what could only be described as an absolute barnburner, Shelton Benjamin outlasted Chris Jericho to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. The high-flying Benjamin used every trick in the book to keep the determined Jericho at bay, ultimately securing the win with a vicious spear that sent both men crashing to the mat.

Match 2: WWF World Tag Team Title Gauntlet Match This chaotic match saw Rosey and The Hurricane emerge victorious, capturing the WWF World Tag Team Championships from La Resistance (Robert Conway and Sylvain Grenier) in the process. Maven and Simon Dean were also involved in the fray, along with Tajiri and William Regal, and The Heart Throbs - but in the end, it was Rosey and The Hurricane who stood tall.

Match 3: Edge vs. Chris Benoit (Last Man Standing Match) In a Last Man Standing Match that had the crowd on their feet from start to finish, Edge ultimately emerged victorious over the hard-hitting Chris Benoit. Both men left everything they had in the ring, but it was Edge's cunning and determination that proved too much for Benoit.

Match 4: Kane vs. Viscera (Singles Match) In a relatively quick match, Kane made short work of Viscera, dispatching his opponent with a thunderous choke slam to send him crashing to the mat.

Match 5: Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels vs. Khosrow Daivari and Muhammad Hassan (Tag Team Match) Legends collide in this unforgettable tag team match, as Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels joined forces to take on the formidable duo of Khosrow Daivari and Muhammad Hassan. In a thrilling contest that saw all four men give it their all, Hogan and Michaels ultimately emerged victorious, sending the crowd into raptures.

Main Event: Batista vs. Triple H (World Heavyweight Title Match) In what was arguably the match of the night, Batista defeated Triple H to capture the World Heavyweight Championship - marking a new era in WWE history. The dominant Batista used his incredible strength and power to overpower the cunning Triple H, securing the win with a devastating Batista Bomb.

As the curtain closed on WrestleMania 21, it was clear that this event would be remembered for years to come as one of the greatest Pay-Per-Views in WWE history.
