ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI - The Scottrade Center played host to the highly anticipated MONEY IN THE BANK pay-per-view event, and yours truly was there to witness all the action firsthand. With a stacked card featuring some of WWE's biggest names, it was anyone's guess what would go down on this sweltering summer night.

MATCH 1: RANDY ORTON VS. SHEAMUS

The main event got underway with Randy Orton taking on The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. These two have a history, and it showed as they clashed in the ring. Orton's patented RKO almost did the trick early, but Sheamus kicked out at the last second. A series of near-falls followed, with both men trading blows and showing off their technical prowess. In the end, Orton emerged victorious via pinfall after a vicious punt to the head.

MATCH 2: WWE RAW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - PRIME TIME PLAYERS VS. THE NEW DAY

Next up was a thrilling tag team match featuring the reigning champions, Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil), taking on The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) for the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles. This one was an all-action affair from start to finish, with both teams trading moves and showing off their high-flying skills. In the end, Prime Time Players retained their titles via pinfall after a series of swift kicks and a devastating slam.

MATCH 3: BRAY WYATT VS. ROMAN REIGNS

The atmosphere in the Scottrade Center reached a fever pitch as The Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt, faced off against The Big Dog, Roman Reigns. This one was all about power and intensity, with both men trading blows and showing off their strength. In the end, Wyatt emerged victorious via pinfall after a vicious Sister Abigail.

MATCH 4: TRIPLE THREAT MATCH - CHARLOTTE VS. BRIE BELLA AND SASHA BANKS

The women's division took center stage next as Charlotte squared off against Brie Bella and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match. This one was an absolute showstopper, with all three competitors putting it all on the line. In the end, Charlotte emerged victorious via pinfall after a devastating Natural Selection.

MATCH 5: WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH - JOHN CENA VS. KEVIN OWENS

The main event of the evening featured John Cena defending his WWE United States Title against the challenger, Kevin Owens. This one was an all-out brawl from start to finish, with both men trading moves and showing off their technical prowess. In the end, Cena retained his title via pinfall after a vicious Attitude Adjustment.

MAIN EVENT: WWE TITLE MATCH - SETH ROLLINS VS. BROCK LESNAR

And finally, we came down to the main event of the evening as Seth Rollins put his WWE Title on the line against the challenger, Brock Lesnar. This one was an absolute war from start to finish, with both men trading moves and showing off their strength. In a shocking turn of events, the match ended in a no contest after Lesnar delivered a vicious F-5 to Rollins, causing the referee to call off the match.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, MONEY IN THE BANK was an absolute thrill ride from start to finish. With a stacked card featuring some of WWE's biggest names, there were plenty of moments that had the Scottrade Center crowd on their feet. While not every match lived up to its full potential, the event as a whole was a success and will be remembered for weeks to come.
