WWE SmackDown Report: March 8th, 2021 - WWE ThunderDome

I'm Michael Cox, and I'm here to give you the lowdown on last night's action-packed episode of WWE SmackDown, broadcast live from the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Main Event: Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz (WWE Title Match)

The main event saw a dominant performance by Bobby Lashley as he successfully defended his WWE Championship against The Miz. Lashley, known for his incredible strength and power, used his Finishing Move - the Spear - to take down The Miz and retain his title.

No DQ Chaos: Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus

In a thrilling No Disqualification Match, Drew McIntyre faced off against Sheamus in what can only be described as an absolute war. Both men left everything they had in the ring, but unfortunately, it ended in a No Contest due to the sheer destruction caused by both competitors.

Singles Action: Xavier Woods vs. Shelton Benjamin

Xavier Woods picked up a convincing victory over Shelton Benjamin in a Singles Match, showcasing his incredible quickness and agility. The match was over in just 3 minutes and 45 seconds as Woods delivered a devastating Crossface Chickenwing to secure the win.

Non-Title Action: Riddle vs. Slapjack

Riddle continued his winning streak by defeating Slapjack in a Non-Title Match. The match was marked by Riddle's unorthodox moveset, which left Slapjack reeling. The final blow came when Riddle landed a perfect Floating Bro to secure the win.

Women's Tag Team Title Match: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. Lana and Naomi

The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship was on the line as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler took on Lana and Naomi. The match was intense, with all four women giving it their all. In the end, Jax and Baszler emerged victorious, retaining their titles in a hard-fought 8-minute contest.

Singles Action: AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

The show closed out with an incredible Singles Match between AJ Styles and Randy Orton. The two superstars put on a show for the ages, trading moves and near falls throughout the match. In the end, it was Styles who came out on top, securing the win in 15 minutes and 40 seconds.
