WWE's "Money in the Bank" PPV Event Review

Orlando, Florida - WWE Performance Center - May 10th, 2020

The WWE's flagship event, Money in the Bank, has always been a thrilling spectacle that never fails to deliver on its promise of high-stakes matches and explosive action. And last night was no exception.

The show kicked off with a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Title Match featuring The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) taking on John Morrison and The Miz, The Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado), and The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake). In a thrilling match that saw multiple near-falls and creative moves, The New Day emerged victorious, retaining their SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

Next up was a Singles Match between Bobby Lashley and R-Truth. Despite being vastly outsized by his opponent, Truth managed to hang tough for the early going before ultimately falling victim to Lashley's dominance. The match lasted all of 1:44, making it one of the quickest on the card.

The SmackDown Women's Title was up next, with Bayley defending her title against Tamina. In a match that showcased both women's strengths and weaknesses, Bayley managed to squeak out a win in what was an excellent showing from both competitors.

The main event of the first half saw Braun Strowman put his Universal Title on the line against Bray Wyatt. This was a war from start to finish, with both men trading blows and near-falls left and right. In the end, Strowman emerged victorious, retaining his title in what was an incredible display of power and aggression.

The second half of the card began with Drew McIntyre putting his WWE Title on the line against Seth Rollins. This was a masterclass performance from both men, with each showcasing their technical skills and sheer athleticism. In the end, McIntyre emerged victorious, retaining his title in what was an incredible display of strength and resilience.

The evening's final match saw Asuka compete in the RAW Women's Title Money in the Bank Ladder Match against Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler. This was a wild and unpredictable ride from start to finish, with each woman doing their best to outdo the others. In the end, Asuka emerged victorious, claiming the title and setting herself up for a potential showdown with any of her fellow competitors.

Finally, we had the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match featuring AJ Styles, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, and Rey Mysterio. This was an absolute spectacle from start to finish, with each man showcasing their skills and creativity as they battled for the coveted contract. In the end, Otis emerged victorious, claiming the briefcase and setting himself up for a potential run at the top of the WWE mountain.

All in all, this was an incredible show that showcased the very best of what the WWE has to offer. With so many great matches and moments throughout the evening, it's hard not to feel like we've seen something truly special. And with the likes of Asuka, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, and Otis all emerging victorious, there's no shortage of potential storylines and feuds on the horizon.
