WWE No Mercy: A Thrilling Pay Per View in the City of Angels

The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California played host to an electrifying pay per view event last night as WWE presented No Mercy. The packed arena was treated to a stacked card featuring some of the promotion's biggest stars, and I'm thrilled to report that it did not disappoint.

Intercontinental Title Thrills The evening kicked off with The Miz putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Jason Jordan. A high-energy contest saw both men give it their all, but in the end, The Miz emerged victorious, retaining his title after a convincing 10:13 win. A strong start to the night that set the tone for what was to come.

Demon's Debut Finn Balor made a triumphant return to singles competition, defeating the enigmatic Bray Wyatt in an absorbing match. The Demon King's innovative moveset and sheer athleticism ultimately proved too much for Wyatt, as he picked up a hard-fought 11:32 win. A memorable debut performance from Balor that has me excited to see what the future holds.

RAW Tag Team Title Showdown The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus) put their WWE RAW Tag Team Championships on the line against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a thrilling encounter. The four men tore the house down, with the eventual winners, Ambrose and Rollins, emerging victorious after 15:55 of intense action. A fantastic match that showcased the talents of all four competitors.

Fatal Five-Way Mayhem The WWE RAW Women's Championship was up for grabs in a chaotic Fatal Five-Way Match featuring Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Emma, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks. In the end, it was Bliss who stood tall, claiming her third women's title in just over 9:40 of madness. A wild and unpredictable match that kept the crowd on their toes.

Roman Reigns vs John Cena The main event saw Roman Reigns face off against John Cena in a highly anticipated singles contest. The two giants clashed in a grueling, back-and-forth affair that ultimately saw Reigns emerge victorious after 22:05 of action. A strong performance from both men, with Reigns' victory statement sending a message to the rest of the WWE roster.

Cruiserweight Championship Enzo Amore successfully defended his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Neville in an evenly matched contest. The former champ's quickness and cunning proved too much for Neville, as he picked up a 10:40 win. A solid performance from both men that showcased their skills in the cruiserweight division.

Universal Title Showdown The night's main event saw Brock Lesnar put his WWE Universal Championship on the line against Braun Strowman in a battle of behemoths. In the end, it was Lesnar who retained his title after just 9:01 of destruction. A brutal and intense match that showcased the destructive capabilities of both men.

In conclusion, No Mercy delivered a thrilling pay per view experience for fans in attendance at the Staples Center and watching at home around the world. With some excellent matches and strong performances from many of WWE's top stars, this event will be remembered as a highlight of 2017. Until next time, folks!
