While Reigns relied on his brute strength, Taker employed his cunning and athleticism to gain the upper hand. In the end, it was a devastating Tombstone Piledriver that ended the match in 11:38.

Match 5: WWE Title #1 Contendership Tournament Final John Cena vs. Kurt Angle

The main event of the evening pitted John Cena against Kurt Angle for the top spot on the WWE Championship ladder. Both competitors brought their A-game, trading holds and near-falls throughout a thrilling match that saw both men push each other to new heights. In the end, it was Cena's patented Five-Knuckle Shuffle followed by an Attitude Adjustment that secured his victory (19:14).

Main Event: WWE Title Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match John Bradshaw Layfield vs. The Big Show

And finally, in a match for the ages, JBL faced off against The Big Show in a barbed wire steel cage contest for the WWE Championship. In a brutal and unforgiving affair that saw both competitors battered and bruised, JBL ultimately emerged victorious by escaping the cage first (14:50).
