WWE SmackDown Report - February 23rd, 2010
By Simon Camberley, Zoha's Wrestling Correspondent
The Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin played host to a thrilling edition of WWE SmackDown last night, as the blue brand showcased some electrifying action for our taped broadcast.
Tag Team Thrills We kicked off proceedings with a high-flying tag team affair, as Christian and Heath Slater took on Carlito and Michael Tarver. The experienced duo of Christian and Slater proved too much for their opponents, securing the pin after a thunderous spear from Christian in just 4 minutes and 14 seconds.
Quick Justice Next up was David Otunga, who sought to make a statement against Darren Young. Otunga, looking to build momentum, delivered a series of swift strikes before finishing Young off with a crushing fireman's carry slam - all in a mere 37 seconds! The young superstar is certainly making waves on the SmackDown roster.
Bryan vs. Jericho: A Battle for Supremacy The main event saw two of the WWE's elite clash, as Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan faced off in a thrilling singles match. Both men traded holds and near-falls, showcasing their incredible technical skills. In the end, it was the cunning Jericho who emerged victorious, pinning Bryan after a vicious Codebreaker at 5 minutes and 54 seconds.
Overall, last night's SmackDown was an entertaining ride from start to finish. With some impressive performances and decisive victories, our competitors are sure to be feeling the heat as we head into the coming weeks.
Until next time, it's been a pleasure serving up this report for Zoha's Wrestling fans!
