WWE SummerSlam 2017: A Night to Remember

As I stepped into the iconic Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, I knew that this year's SummerSlam was going to be a special one. And boy, did it deliver! The sold-out crowd was electric as the cream of WWE's crop took to the ring for what turned out to be an unforgettable night.

Match 1: John Cena vs. Baron Corbin The main event got off to a thrilling start with John Cena taking on the rising star, Baron Corbin. In a bout that showcased both men's athleticism and strength, Cena managed to eke out a victory over his younger foe in what was an excellent opener. The match time: 10:15.

Match 2: Natalya vs. Naomi (WWE SmackDown Women's Title) The first title change of the night came when Natalya defeated Naomi to claim the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. This one was all about technical grappling, with both women putting on a show before Natalya emerged victorious in an impressive 11:10.

Match 3: Big Cass vs. The Big Show In what could be described as a battle of giants, Big Cass faced off against the behemoth that is The Big Show. In a match that lived up to its billing, Cass's agility and power ultimately proved too much for the larger opponent, with the victory coming in 10:30.

Match 4: Randy Orton vs. Rusev Randy Orton's cunningness was on full display as he outmaneuvered Rusev en route to a quick win. This one was over in just 00:10 – a testament to the Viper's experience and guile.

Match 5: Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss (WWE RAW Women's Title) The action only picked up from here, as Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss clashed for the WWE RAW Women's Championship. In what was an absolute showcase of female wrestling prowess, Banks managed to overcome her opponent's cunningness, securing the win in a thrilling 13:10.

Match 6: Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt Finn Balor faced off against the mysterious Bray Wyatt in what turned out to be a battle for the ages. In an encounter that featured some of the most innovative moves seen all night, Balor's quickness and agility allowed him to outmaneuver Wyatt and claim victory in 10:50.

Match 7: Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) (WWE RAW Tag Team Titles) The tag team action was next, as Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins took on the formidable duo of Cesaro and Sheamus for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships. This one was an absolute barnburner, with both teams giving it their all before Ambrose & Rollins emerged victorious in 18:35.

Match 8: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens (WWE United States Title) The battle for the WWE United States Championship saw AJ Styles take on Kevin Owens. In what was an incredibly competitive bout, Styles's speed and agility allowed him to outmaneuver Owens en route to a thrilling win in 17:20.

Match 9: Jinder Mahal vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE Title) The main event of the night featured Jinder Mahal putting his WWE Championship on the line against the challenger, Shinsuke Nakamura. This one was an absolute clash of styles, with both men giving it their all before Mahal managed to retain his title in 11:25.

Main Event: Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns & Samoa Joe (WWE Universal Title Fatal Four-Way Match) And finally, we had the main event – a WWE Universal Championship Fatal Four-Way Match featuring Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Samoa Joe. In what was an absolute spectacle, Lesnar's sheer power and dominance allowed him to emerge victorious in 20:45.

As I left the Barclays Center that night, it was clear that this SummerSlam would be remembered for years to come. A night of incredible matches, memorable moments, and championship performances – WWE did not disappoint!
