Saginaw, Michigan: The Dow Event Center played host to a thrilling night of professional wrestling as World Wrestling Entertainment brought their brand of high-flying action to the Great Lakes State. A sold-out crowd of 3,357 enthusiasts was treated to a stacked card featuring some of the top stars in the WWE.
The show got off to a flying start with Sami Zayn putting on a technical masterclass against Dominik Mysterio in a non-title affair. The high-flying Houdini of the ring used his quickness and agility to evade Mysterio's best efforts, ultimately securing the win via a series of swift armbars.
Next up was the Queen of Harts herself, Becky Lynch, who took on Zoey Stark in a singles match. The former champion showcased her ruthless determination, using a combination of submission holds and hard-hitting strikes to wear down Stark before finishing her off with the Dis-arm-Her.
The evening's first major upset came when Omos made quick work of Akira Tozawa, dominating their match from start to finish with his incredible power and athleticism. The former tag team champion toyed with Tozawa, using a series of thunderous slams and suplexes to secure the win.
Cody Rhodes continued his winning streak as he took down Damian Priest in a hard-hitting singles match. The American Nightmare showed off his impressive aerial ability, hitting a pair of stunning moonsaults before locking in the Crossroads to secure the victory.
The women's division was well-represented with Nia Jax making her presence felt against Raquel Rodriguez. The former Raw Women's Champion used her incredible strength and size advantage to overwhelm Rodriguez, finishing her off with the Samoan Drop.
In the night's penultimate match, Gunther put his WWE Intercontinental Title on the line against Chad Gable. The reigning champion showcased his impressive technical grappling skills, using a series of submission holds and high-impact moves to fend off Gable's best efforts before retaining the title via a vicious lariat.
Finally, Seth Rollins took on Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura in a thrilling WWE World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat Match. The Beastslayer used his quickness and cunning to evade the early attacks of both opponents, before turning the tables with a series of high-impact moves. In the end, it was Rollins who emerged victorious, pinning McIntyre after a devastating Stomp to secure the win and retain the title.
Overall, this was a fantastic show from start to finish, featuring some of the best talent in the WWE. The crowd was thoroughly entertained throughout, and the event will be remembered as a highlight of the 2023 wrestling calendar.
