The Thunder Rolls: WWE Survivor Series Review

Folks, we've got a real barnburner of an event on our hands here with WWE's Survivor Series pay-per-view from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The main event was all about the battles between RAW and SmackDown superstars, and boy did they deliver.

The Main Event: A War of Attrition

The night kicked off with a thrilling Ten-Man Tag Team Elimination Match featuring some of WWE's finest talent. AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Keith Lee, Riddle, and Sheamus (the RAW squad) went up against Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, King Corbin, Otis, and Seth Rollins (the SmackDown team). This was a war of attrition from start to finish, with bodies flying everywhere. In the end, it was Styles who picked up the pinfall victory for his team, capping off an impressive 18:59 match.

Tag Team Tussle

Next up, we had The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) taking on The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a non-title RAW vs. SmackDown Tag Team Match. This was a high-flying affair, with both teams trading near-falls and showing off their aerial prowess. In the end, The Street Profits emerged victorious, outlasting The New Day 14:05 minutes to win.

A Pair of Dominant Performances

Bobby Lashley made quick work of Sami Zayn in a non-title RAW vs. SmackDown Match, finishing him off with his patented Hurt Lock in just 7:46 minutes. Meanwhile, Sasha Banks showed why she's considered one of the best female wrestlers in the world by dominating Asuka in their own non-title match, winning in 13:08.

The Women's War

The women's division stole the show in a massive Ten-Woman Tag Team Elimination Match featuring Lacey Evans, Lana, Nia Jax, Peyton Royce, and Shayna Baszler (the RAW team) against Bayley, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Ruby Riott (the SmackDown squad). This was a wild ride from start to finish, with bodies flying everywhere. In the end, it was Evans who picked up the pinfall victory for her team, capping off an exhausting 23:21 match.

The Main Event of the Night

And finally, we had Roman Reigns taking on Drew McIntyre in a non-title RAW vs. SmackDown Match. This was a battle for the ages, with both men trading near-falls and showing off their incredible strength. In the end, it was Reigns who emerged victorious, outlasting McIntyre 24:52 minutes to win.

The Verdict

Survivor Series was an absolute blast from start to finish. The action was non-stop, and every match delivered in its own way. If you're a fan of professional wrestling, this is a show you won't want to miss. And if you're new to the world of WWE, this is the perfect introduction to some of the company's top talent.

Final Grade: A+
