The WWE's annual Tables, Ladders, and Chairs extravaganza went down at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, and yours truly was there to soak up all the chaos. As always, it was a wild ride with plenty of memorable moments. Let's dive into the matches that made this TLC event one for the books.

Match 1: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title - The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton) vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

The show opened with a bang, literally. The Wyatt Family dispatched their opponents in a quick and dirty match that lasted all of 5:55. Bray Wyatt's sinister presence loomed large over the proceedings, setting the tone for the evening.

Match 2: No Disqualification - Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

Nikki Bella proved why she's one of the top ladies in the WWE by dominating Carmella in a hard-hitting N.D. match that clocked in at 8:00. The Queen of Hugs showed no mercy, delivering a vicious roundhouse kick to send Carmella crashing to the mat.

Match 3: WWE Intercontinental Title Ladder Match - The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler

The IC title ladder match lived up to its reputation as one of the most thrilling matches on the card. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler traded blows, showcasing their aerial prowess with some jaw-dropping moves. In the end, it was The Miz who emerged victorious, claiming the title after a picture-perfect dive off the top rope.

Match 4: Chairs Match - Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto

Baron Corbin's brute strength proved too much for Kalisto in this chairs match. Corbin used his massive frame to great effect, taking down Kalisto with a vicious clothesline and then finishing him off with a chairshot to the back. Time of 13:00 was well spent, considering the carnage that ensued.

Match 5: WWE SmackDown Women's Title Tables Match - Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch

The women's division shone brightly in this thrilling tables match. Alexa Bliss used her agility and cunning to outmaneuver Becky Lynch, ultimately retaining the title after a nasty suplex through a table. The match clocked in at 15:10, with both competitors giving it their all.

Main Event: WWE Title Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match - AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose

And then there was the main event. What can I say? This TLC match was an instant classic. AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose put on a show for the ages, trading ladder moves, tables spots, and brutal chair shots. In the end, it was AJ who came out on top, pinning Dean after a thunderous Phenomenal Forearm from atop a ladder.

Overall

TLC 2016 delivered in spades, featuring some of the best wrestling you'll see all year. With multiple title changes and memorable moments galore, this event will be remembered for years to come. If you missed it, do yourself a favor and seek it out. It's worth your time.
