"Survivor Series Smackdown: A Night of Thrills and Spills at the Rose Garden Arena"

September 12th, 2004, Portland, Oregon - The Rose Garden Arena played host to one of the most electric pay-per-view events in recent memory, as World Wrestling Entertainment brought their A-game to the City of Roses. And I'm here to give you the inside scoop on what went down.

The night kicked off with a barnburner of a tag team match, pitting Chris Benoit and William Regal against Batista and Ric Flair. This one had it all - high-flying action, brutal brawling, and more than a few near-falls that left the crowd gasping. In the end, it was Benoit's submission expertise that proved the deciding factor, as he forced Flair to tap out at 15:05.

Next up, Trish Stratus looked to continue her winning streak against Victoria for the WWE Women's Title. And what a performance she put in! A series of high-impact moves and quick counters had Stratus in control from start to finish, wrapping things up with a vicious Stratusfaction at 8:25.

Tyson Tomko got his debut win under his belt when he dispatched Steven Richards in just 6:20. Not the most thrilling match, perhaps, but Tomko's raw power and aggression were on full display - a sign of good things to come from this young buck.

Now we get to the meat of the matter. The WWE Intercontinental Title was up for grabs in a Ladder Match between Chris Jericho and Christian. What can I say? This one was a masterclass in aerial assault, with both men taking some truly terrifying spills off those ladders. In the end, it was Y2J who emerged victorious, claiming the vacant title at 20:35.

Shawn Michaels and Kane went toe-to-toe in a No DQ Match that had everyone on their feet - including yours truly! These two old pros know how to put on a show, and this one delivered in spades. Michaels' flying elbow drop was just the beginning of a wild ride that saw both men trading near-falls and delivering some truly nasty punishment. In the end, it was HBK who came out on top at 17:57.

The WWF World Tag Team Titles were up for grabs next, as La Resistance (Robert Conway and Sylvain Grenier) took on Rhyno and Tajiri. This one had a bit of everything - powerbombs, high-flying moves, and even some good old-fashioned brawling. In the end, it was the French duo who emerged victorious at 9:35.

And finally, we come to the main event: Triple H taking on Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title. This one had all the makings of a classic - a battle-hardened champion looking to prove his worth against a hungry young challenger. And while Orton gave it his all, in the end it was Hunter who proved too strong, retaining his title at 25:50.

That's all for this report from the Rose Garden Arena. What a night! If you missed it, do yourself a favor and seek out the replay - trust me, you won't regret it. For Zohash.com, I'm [Your Name], signing off.
