WWF Pay Per View Report - April 2nd, 2000

Arrowhead Pond, Anaheim, California - In front of a lively crowd of 18,742, World Wrestling Entertainment presented its latest pay-per-view extravaganza, featuring an eclectic mix of action-packed matches. From the opening bell to the final curtain call, this event had it all.

Tag Team Action Bull Buchanan and The Big Bossman kicked things off with a victory over D-Lo Brown and The Godfather in a hard-hitting tag team match (9:08). The former FBI members' teamwork and power proved too much for their opponents to handle.

Hardcore Havoc In the first of two WWE Hardcore Title matches, Hardcore Holly emerged victorious from a chaotic 15-minute battle royal. Surviving a sea of bodies, including the likes of Crash Holly, Bradshaw, Faarooq, and more, Hardcore Holly proved his mettle in the most unpredictable of circumstances.

T& A Take Down Head Cheese Albert and Test, better known as T& A, dominated Al Snow and Steve Blackman (Head Cheese) in their tag team encounter. This match was a straightforward affair, with T& A's power and precision proving too much for their opponents to handle (7:04).

Three-Way Ladder Mayhem Christian and Edge claimed the WWF World Tag Team Titles from The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz in a thrilling three-way ladder match. This was an instant classic, with all six competitors showcasing incredible aerial skills and a willingness to take risks.

Cat Fight Chaos In a bizarre interlude, Terri outmaneuvered The Kat to win their special referee-assisted cat fight (2:24). Val Venis kept the peace as these two divas clashed in a match that was equal parts comedy and physicality.

Radicalz Fall to Chyna and Too Cool Chyna and Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty) teamed up to take down The Radicalz (Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, and Perry Saturn) in a frenetic six-man tag team match. This was another high-energy encounter that never let up.

Intercontinental Title Tussle Chris Benoit's quest for the WWE Intercontinental Title ended in disappointment as Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle outmaneuvered him in their triple threat match. A great performance from all three, but ultimately a narrow victory for Jericho.

European Title Chaos In an intriguing twist, Chris Jericho went on to win the WWE European Title by defeating Benoit and Angle in another triple threat match. This was a masterclass in technical grappling, with each competitor showing their skills.

Kane and Rikishi Crush DX The dominant duo of Kane and Rikishi proved too strong for D-Generation X (The Road Dogg and X-Pac) in their tag team encounter. A quick and decisive victory for the monstrous duo.

Fateful Four-Way Elimination The main event featured a WWE Title Fatal Four Way Elimination Match between Triple H, Mick Foley, The Big Show, and The Rock. In an epic contest that lasted nearly 40 minutes, Triple H emerged victorious, outlasting his opponents to retain his title. This was an unforgettable spectacle that capped off an already action-packed evening.

Overall, this WWF pay-per-view event delivered a thrilling experience for fans in attendance and those watching at home. With its mix of high-flying action, hard-hitting brawls, and unpredictable outcomes, it's no wonder this show will be remembered for years to come.
