Great-O-Khan

The Dominator

Meet Great-O-Khan, the Japanese wrestling sensation who's got the whole New Japan Pro Wrestling world talking. This 110-kilogram behemoth from Maebashi, Gunma, is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. And don't even get him started on his non-wrestling credentials – this guy's a black belt in multiple martial arts disciplines, including karate, judo, ringen, sambo, kickboxen, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, grappling, pankration, and mixed martial arts.

But let's get to the wrestling. Great-O-Khan's real name is Tomoyuki Oka, but you'll rarely hear anyone call him that – he's known far and wide as either Tomoyuki Oka or, of course, Great-O-Kharn (try saying that three times fast). This technician-turned-superstar has been tearing it up in the NJPW singles scene, taking on all comers and emerging victorious more often than not. And when he needs a partner in crime, you can bet your bottom dollar he's got a capable tag team partner by his side.

So what makes Great-O-Khan tick? For starters, that 188-centimeter frame of his doesn't hurt – he's a towering presence in the ring, and opponents tend to underestimate him at their own peril. And then there are those moves... oh boy, those moves. The belly-to-belly suplex is a crowd-pleaser, as is the Mongolian chop (don't ask – just trust us on this one). And if you're feeling particularly feisty? Well, Great-O-Khan's got an Eliminator to take care of business.

Make no mistake: this guy's a throwback to the old-school wrestling days. He's all about finesse, strategy, and good old-fashioned toughness. So when you're watching New Japan Pro Wrestling and you see that familiar figure stomping around the ring, you know you're in for a treat. Just don't say we didn't warn you...
