JJ Dillon

The Nature Boy

JJ Dillon's life was a wrestling match in every sense. He was born with a silver tongue and a penchant for drama, two skills that would serve him well in the ring. And what a ride it was.

Born Jim Morrison on June 26th, 1947, in Trenton, New Jersey, JJ Dillon would grow up to be one of the most colorful characters in professional wrestling. His early days were marked by trash talk and bravado, traits that would become his signature moves outside the ring as well.

Dillon's first match date was August 29th, 1963 - a day that would set him on a path that would span over four decades. He'd work for promotions big and small, from World Wrestling Entertainment to All Japan Pro Wrestling, and everywhere in between.

But it was his time in the National Wrestling Alliance where Dillon truly made his mark. A six-time champion, he held titles such as the NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship and the PWF Tag Team Championship. His trash talk skills proved just as valuable outside the ring as they did inside - no one could get under your skin like JJ Dillon.

And then there was his alter ego, Nature Boy Dillon. It was a persona that blended drama and showmanship, making him a fan favorite wherever he went. Who else could make the art of talking trash an art form?

Dillon's last match date was May 3rd, 2009 - but even in retirement, his legend lived on. A true original, JJ Dillon left behind a legacy that would inspire and infuriate fans for generations to come.

The Nature Boy: A wrestling life in all its glory - trash talk, drama, and a whole lot of heart.
