Despite his many accolades, Hardy has not been immune to controversy. In 2008, he left Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) due to a contract dispute. He would go on to form the independent promotion Ring of Honor's (ROH) tag team division before eventually returning to TNA in 2014.
